I'm getting nervous. Afraid I'm not gonna succeed. Afraid of the changes. But mostly excited!!! I'll be getting the premier protein as well. I'm gonna get a Costco membership. Heard they are cheapest there. Did you have to do blood thinner shots?
-
@@jennyliz congrats!!! Who did you go through for your surgery? Any tips you can give? My surgery is Jan 13 and I'm in Des Moines also!!!

I have a high deductible plan for my insurance through BCBS. Does anyone know the average cost of 10 days? I checked with my pharmacy and they said around $500. Just curious if that seems right. -

Mine is Jan 13th!!! I'm getting so excited. I have a two week pre op full liquid diet. I'm very nervous about this. I need to figure out what protein is the best. I don't have the money to spend to try all different kinds. Congrats to all!! -

I'm trying very hard to change my eating habits now but having food remorse in a way. Nothing bad but still feeling like I need to have some of my favorite foods one last time. Medications in chewable form
crystalmaries replied to crystalmaries's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm on a generic form of celexa. It doesn't come in chewable form though. I like it but have been on it 2+ years. I didn't have any side effects and wasn't sleepy. I hated Wellbutrin. It gave me more anxiety! I have a call into my family doctor to see what we can do. -
I have to get my prescriptions in chewable form and both of what I am on do not come that way. One is an antidepressant and the other birth control. What other experiences and fixes are others having? My surgery is in January.

Got approved this week! I could have surgery December 12 but I'm opting to wait till January. I'm hoping that's a good decision. So hard to decide. My worry is being able to still do my daughters 14th sleep over January 30th. But very excited that it is truly gonna happen!!!!

Deciding when to have surgery....
crystalmaries posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I could have the surgery Dec 12 but thought I should wait till after the holidays. So January 13 or 20. My daughters birthday is January 30th. Will I be up to allowing her to have a sleep over? I want her to have a good birthday. She's afraid I won't be ok by then. -

I am going through Mercy with Dr. Smolick. I am with BCBS as well. Very excited about only needing to do the 1 month nutrition counseling. I have everything ready except for some labs to be done and then I will be submitted to insurance for approval. Hoping for a January surgery date!!
