Hi!  I want to learn more about the Gastric Sleeve surgery.  I have a friend who had the surgery last summer and she looks great and feels great!  I just wanted to ask others for their input before I take the next step.  I am strongly considering it!  My friend had her surgery in Mexico because it was very reasonably priced. Since that is important to me, I was considering that also.  I would like to hear stories of pro's and con's.  I know there are risks and I am aware that the risks are even more by doing it in Mexico.  I am in good health with my only physical problem being my weight starting to affect my feet, knees and hips.  They hurt and I'm on my feet all day in my profession. I also have had some 'borderline diabetic" blood tests in the last few years.  I am 240 lbs and I'm only 5'4".  I have tried MANY diets and have lost millions of pounds but each time I gain it back and more!  I feel like I am being held back by my weight. I would love to hear from women who have had the surgery.
