@@Sophieteel Hello Sophieteel! I am 62 and my surgery is tomorrow. I have noticed a few other people on this site that are also around or over 60, so you do have company here. The pre-op diet is not too bad after the first three days. You will be fine with it. Good luck in the coming weeks and I hope your surgery goes well and you have an uncomplicated recovery. -

@@Marge1927 I am also scheduled for surgery on Feb. 3. It is perfectly normal to be nervous about surgery. However, you need to trust yourself now. You did your research and while you were calm and rational you made this decision for surgery. You will be fine, you know that, be nervous, but trust your decision.

@@mdlange Hey I tightened my bra in by a row of hooks today! Down seven pounds so far.Doing things like cleaning out my freezer. Would you believe I found a package of peas from 2013? Hmmmmm.
