I think this is a great idea. I'm so in but my month won't start until 5/26 because in working on another challenge. My greatest NSV yet has been being able to run a distance without gasping for air at the end. I'm down almost 50lbs, when I gave my son a piggy back ride I ran about 5 steps before I had to stop. My son is 50lbs so having that reminder of what I've lost was wonderful!

211.6, Question for any lady's out there! So, prior to having my vsg I only got my period every few months. I just started again!!! After just having it two weeks ago. Has any one else experienced this? If so how long can I expect this???

I gained most of my weight with my oldest daughter now 11. I now have three kids and after each pregnancy tried my hardest to loose weight. Clearly nothing worked. I'm now 30 years old and knew I needed to drop the lbs to better my life and be able to stick around for my kids. I was excited to have my surgery to help change my life. I told every one, and I will keep that part of my life open to any one who wants to know how I lost the lbs.

218 today totally in the wrong direction but I got a visit from Aunt Flo this weekend so I'm assuming I'm holding water????? Sorry if it's tmi

@@stephh so I lost 16 lbs my first week but nothing until today down 1 lb but I'll take it!

@ KingMoose I haven't been as active as I usually am. I work on my feet for 8 hrs a day walking I end up with 8,000-12000 steps a day. I'm on soft foods now but have a hard time getting in food I think about 6 oz of food and 1 and 1/2 protein drinks a day.

First official weigh in... 217.2 I'm currently 3 weeks & 3 days post op. My scale has not changed since week 1. I'm feeling like a failure, any tips would be great!

I'm a sleeve patient, just hours post op. My sleeve was done by Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Elmo in Juarez Mexico. I'm currently here at the hospital. I really need help as my Spanish is none! I have thrown up twice what looks like blood. I'm scared and worried something may be wrong with my sleeve. Has any one experienced this? If so how long will it last and should I be worried? I feel such every time I get out of bed! Please respond! Thanks in advance!

I'm here now, I fly home tomorrow. The process has been easy. The nurses don't speak English but if you have a language translator app on your phone you will be fine. I'm here with my husband and he has been a great support person. The first night I was throwing up dark old blood but this has gotten better today ( knock on wood!) I feel better and the staff and Drs. Have been great.

I'm also spitting up the foam spit. I think I'm getting a little better I'll just keep my fingers crossed for no more vomiting.

My surgery is in a few hours. I had the worst night of sleep, I was up like every hour thinking "this is the longest night ever!" Let's hope for a perfect surgery and fast recovery for the march sleevers!
