Hello, my surgery was moved up. Instead of January it is TOMORROW morning. Really excited. Will let everyone know how it goes:)

Day 2 was a little harder than day 1. I imagine the next few days will be as well. Everyone keeps telling me after 3 or 4 days it's easier. Let's pray that is so:) I have a great bander buddy I met here that is a few days ahead of me in her journey so she gives me advice:) We both are so excited. Come on Dec. 12th. "Cantini" I had the h-pylori test and it was negative but they did tell me if it was positive that they would give me the meds to cure it before surgery. The meds they give you SHOULD clear it up. I pray for you that it does and you get to have your surgery as scheduled. "Grandma", I drink the premier too. I only drink the shakes. I like yogurt so I just stick with my meal replacements. Glad you are doing well "Matt" thanks for letting us know how you are doing. Praying for no more nausea for you and you continue to do well hun. Keep us updated.

I've done good. I do get hungry but it eventually passes after a little while. A week prior to this I did start drinking 2 shakes a day and eating about ½-¾ cup of meat for supper. I felt like I needed to do that to prepare me for the full liquid diet. I think it has made it easier. But I did eat a thanksgiving dinner lol. It was going to be my last full holiday meal so I couldn't pass that up. I drank some broth on day 2 but other than that just the shakes. I think I'm gonna stick with the meal replacement shakes. I'm glad you are doing well. I know you are as excited as I am.

Congrats on your surgery Matt. So glad you are doing well. Grandma, I'm on day 3 of my liquid diet. My surgery is the 12th. I can't wait!

Thanks for the advice and yes it IS nice to be able to talk with or at least read the updates from someone who is going through what you are. I just had my third meal replacement shake for the day. If I think about the fact all I am going to consume for 10 days (and 5 days after surgery) is the protein shakes, I get a little discouraged. I try to keep myself busy and take it one day at a time. This is my day 3 and I had a few hunger pains but did not give in. I want this more than anything I have ever wanted for myself. I will not do anything to lose this wonderful blessing. It's not like we won't ever eat again right? Love hearing from y'all.. Have a great night!

I don't get any solids in my diet. Just the shakes, jello, yogurt. That kind of thing. I can have some creamy soups. Can't wait for that part to be over with and be on my way to the happier me. #dec12 #

I am eating low/no carb diet. Walking a1 mile a day and exercising 4-5 times per week. Making a grocery shopping list of foods I will buy. Researching my choices of vitamins. I start my 10-day liquid diet Dec 2nd. I am SO DANG EXCITED!!

December 12th!!! w00t w00t!! Doing my happy dance now!!????
