    OCTOBER 2014

I have noticed that I can eat more soup or salad than other things. Any beef sits like a ton of bricks so usually just a couple bites of that.

    OCTOBER 2014

Today I realized that I am 4 pounds away from 100 lost from my heaviest weight. I'm 80 down from the day of surgery. Starting to really appreciate the struggle!

    OCTOBER 2014

So I haven't had a lot of issues with clothes being so big they fall off. That is until the last few days. I walked from the car to the house, with my hands full of course, and lost my pants right as I got in the front door. Then this evening I put on my favorite comfy pj pants and walked from my bedroom to the kitchen and lost them on the way.

@@freelyme,I was 377 on the day of surgery so you weren't the biggest. I just hit 299 a few days ago and cried like a baby. It feels great. I have lost almost 80 pounds though since surgery on 10/15/14. Good luck!!

    Coffee!

My surgeon and nut said we could have decaf after surgery. So coffee was my "new addiction". It is also what caused my ulcer, so if you do decide to drink it be careful.

    OCTOBER 2014

Last time I was in a scale I had lost 72 pounds. Tomorrow is my 3 months post op. I go for my second upper endoscopy to see how my ulcer is doing. Getting excited that's clothes are finally way to big.

    OCTOBER 2014

I finally got on a scale while I was at my parents house for lunch today. I have lost 62 pounds. I was shocked!! Everyone has had the flu at my house so I have been trying to keep everything disinfected and clean so I don't get it. I can't imagine having the flu now, I can barely get my fluid in as it is. I love reading everyone's posts, it really lifts my spirits when they need lifting. Everyone keep up the great work and have a wonderful New Year!! ????

Surgeon wants me to have an endoscopy Friday to rule out ulcers. She's also calling some meds in for my nausea. Still not feeling the best, but I finally got some egg drop soup down.

    OCTOBER 2014

I have put in a call to my surgeons office several hours ago, but of course no one has called me back. I had RNY on October 15th. I am able to hold down a little water, but so far that is all. I still can't eat anything g and now it feels like my acid reflux is acting up, which hasn't happened since surgery. I am miserable, guess a trip to the ER is coming soon.

    OCTOBER 2014

I got a glimpse of myself in a store window today and said "well I guess I have lost some weight". My husband keeps telling me I have, but I didn't believe him until I saw for myself. 50 pounds in 7 weeks, I'm ready to lose the next 50 just as fast!

    Periods

I have had 5 periods in the 6 weeks since my surgery. 4 of those were really heavy. My doctor wants me to go see my ob/gyn and see about an ablation since my tubes are already tied. Fingers crossed they will do it soon. I can't go on like this for much longer!
