I still haven't had my surgery. I just scheduled my surgeon appointment today! I'm very nervous to whats to come and see if my insurance will approve the surgery. I joined the group in hopes of finding someone like me. Someone who is my similar frame and age and reading their journey and their story. A cousin of mine had her gastric bypass surgery a year ago and although her body is still not where she wants it to be, she is SUPER confident and I love it! I've never struggled with self confidence, I actually love my body, but I'm at a point in my life where my husband and I want to start a family and begin over weight has caused us many challenges. I've done the diets and the exercise and I always loose an average of 40 pounds and thats it! I'm still in the 200s! I figured its my body chemistry and therefore require more permanent changes, thats why I decided with weight loss surgery.
