time for june

Hi All - Just wanted to start a September Group that we can all join and support one another on our new life's journey. I will be sleeved on Sept. 13th in Pennsylvania. Who's ready for this? I know I am!

YAY to those who have had their surgeries!! And LETS GET EM to those who are still preparing. I started my 2 week liquid diet last week...one more week down and then it's my "big" day!! September 13th !!!!!

Sept. 13th

I am Sept. 13th as well! Good luck to all of us and we can support one another.

I am schedule for Sept. 13th (this is the third surgery date). I backed out two other times because I feel that my husband was not supportive. Since those two times I have gained more weight and my energy level stinks. I have decided to stop trying to please others and that I am my own person and biggest support of ME so......pre-op diet starts Aug. 29th and this time I say BRING IT ON!!!

I am very sorry for your loss. That is a very emotional thing to go through you have to allow yourself to grieve but also I am sure your friend would want you to put your health first. That support group should never make you feel less about yourself. The one good thing is that you realize that there was a problem and you started to correct it. This is a lifestyle change and it will take time to adjust but you did it before and you're going to do it again. Keep posting here your progress so we can support you. All the best and you will be back on track again soon.
