I am in the EXACT same situation. Down to our surgery date being the same! My sx date was also 2/2. My highest weight was 302. I was 290 on the day of surgery. And I am currently 263-265. Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled with my weight loss this far! But I have only lost about a pound in the last 2 weeks. I am sticking to my program and doing everything I'm supposed to. I'm having a lot of anxiety about seeing my surgeon. My apt is on the 18th and I think he is expecting me to have lost more weight by then. And I am nervous about feeling embarrassed. It's very frustrating because I do not know what more I can do, or what else on earth I have left to sacrifice for this. I'm trying to wait it out and have faith. It's just so hard. I knew that stalls were a thing before getting the sx, it's just different when you're actually in the throws of one. Good luck to you! May we break our stalls soon!

I'm trying not to freak out. But there is a huge winter storm predicted for Monday into Tuesday. And my surgery is scheduled for Tuesday morning! I know that I will get there. I live 20 minutes from the hospital and I'll leave an hour or more early to get there. But I am so worried that the hospital or the surgeon may cancel. I plan on calling my surgeon's office tomorrow just to see if they ever cancel due to inclement weather. And when the hospital calls me with my admission time I will ask them the same thing. I realize that it will not be the complete end of the world if it gets rescheduled, but I have already waited so long, have my heart completely set, I am finally truly ready and committed to weight loss. I have the days requested and approved to be off from my job, as do my boyfriend and mother. So not only would a cancelation be very upsetting, but myself and my family would have to try to get different days off and whatnot. By no means would I want anyone risking their life to get there! I am just wondering if anyone had heard of surgeries getting canceled due to snow?.. Thank you!

So! My surgery was rescheduled. The office called me on Monday, the day before the storm, to tell me that the hospital canceled all of their surgeries. It was a sad day for me. I realized that in the long run it won't make a difference. But in that moment it was huge. At least she called before I had started my bowel prep! Lol the plus side is that I'm rescheduled for Monday. So it's getting so close! Sunday night it is supposed to snow again and I am watching the weather like a hawk! Lol I haven't gotten a chance to post because I dropped my iPhone in the toilet on Monday as well! Banner day for me! But thank you to everyone for their well wishes and stories! These are my diet restrictions. I am going to ask my surgeon's office tomorrow. But I figured since it was Saturday night, who better to ask than this forum. ????

Hello! My sleeve is scheduled for January 27th! And I just got a letter from my insurance company (fed bcbs) that they approved it! Giant sigh of relief! I hope everyone gets to experience this feeling. Tomorrow I start my pre op diet and I have never been more excited to start a diet! And I never thought I would be saying that!
