Hi Phil....When you head north stop by and see our little town. We are off the Interstate "5" to the 580 take the Livermore exits. If you come by in the fall you can sample our wineries. The Wente winery has a nice resturant overlooking the vinyard. We just had our grand opening of our new Bankhead Theatre (just like big time) I brokered that transaction. We have lots of friendly down home folks here.

Audrician, I have thought of you so often. I was considering not telling my dh. My hubby is in his 70's and does not understand half the stuff I do. I turns out on Jan 1st hubby asked me if I had any new years resolutions. I told him no. He said I thought you were trying to lose weight???why don't you investigate WLS. As the saying goes... you could have knocked me over with a feather.lol Jann

We live in Beautiful down town Livermore. Livermore is known for it's wine country. We also have large cattle ranches. We have just revitalized our down town area with wide side walks with many resturants offering open air dining. Livermore is a great destination. Hello oldies but goodies...I am 67 years old. I live in Northern Calif. I am looking for a WLS. I have called a number of sergeons in my area and no one wants to talk to me at my AGE. I have a BMI of around 32.1. I have about 70 lbs to lose. I am so unconfortable @ my present weight. I know I will be a self pay, but I really did not want to go to MX. Any help or ideas??? Hi All, I have a low BMI too. I am 5'6.5" weight 190 my BMI is 30.7. I am talking to Dr. Garth Davis in Houston Texas. He and his Dad Dr. Big "D" are on TV here in California. They have a show where they do LB/and bypass surgury. I hope they will accept me. If not I'll be off to Mexico.

Hi all, I have a little diferent story. I only have a BMI of 30 but I still need to lose about 60 lbs. I know I want to go to Mexico to have Dr. Ortiz install the lap band for me. My question is how do I broach the conversation with my husband that I want to be banded? He is usually very suportive of everything I do, It's not the money. I just know he will friek out.
