MRI of my thoracic spine today. I hate having them because I am claustrophobic but am looking forward to getting a treatment plan that works for my thoracic spine.
Tell them to put a cloth over your eyes and to hand you the panic button to hold in your hand. I swear just knowing I have that and can get it out if I need to helps! Plus not opening my eyes and seeing how close I am inside that dang thing - the cloth helps with that a lot!
I'll be having MRI of lumbar and cervical on Friday. When an MRI gets too uncomfy, I call out, "Can someone talk to me a little?" No one ever has, but hearing my voice helps remind me that I'm alive.
