I think there are a lot of people doing the TJ thing and not really putting in the time that others are required to, with insurance prerequisites. Their minds aren't right and they haven't been educated well, and they still think that shrinking the stomach is the magic bullet, and that's all they have to do. They ignore the litany of cautionary tales of people who regained all their weight, in spite of surgery.

I agree with you, PCE...and because of them and the educational dearth that occurs with some of the TJ/self-pay centers, these people are doomed to failure and will skew the statistics regarding the safety and efficacy of WLS.
