I had this same issue with my medial gastric bypass. I had horrible stomach gas because they blew up my belly with air to check for leaks. Not sure if they do that with other surgeries too. Took me several weeks to pass any gas. Walking helped when I was able to to do that. Good luck! It will get better. -
