  1. When I was early out I drank (still do) the premier protein drinks they sell at most Walmart's and SAMS. They are ready made with 30 grams of protein per shake 11oz I think. I love the taste of them! Chocolate is the one I always get. Once I could handle that I would add a cup of water and one scoop of the Syntrax peanut butter cookie protein to it and that would gIve me 56 grams of protein per drink. It took awhile to get it down but I worked my way to 2 a day which gave me over 100 grams of protein.

  3. Yogurt! Lots and lots of yogurt and not the healthy stuff we have today the sugar filled kind! I thought it was healthy and granola, full of SUGAR!

  5. Are you tracking ALL your food? I still track everything. I only eat a max of 800 calories and now (recently) if I want to eat more I have to exercise, add it to my tracker and get more calories to eat that way because at times 800 doesn't feel like enough. I also eat low carb and mainly gat any carbs I have through fruits and vegetables. I still wait the 30 mins before and after I eat to drink ect...to back to the basics. Good luck!

    Decisions!

    I thought I was going for Gastric bypass but my surgeon said sleeve on first visit. Perfect choice! My suggestion is get a surgeon you trust that will tell you what's best for your situation.
  7. Well A: you eat slow and wait for the signal or B: you eat too fast and feel like sh*t! Bam then you know! - I have a built in signal a burp/hiccup thing but I usually end up with Situation B because I have NEVER been good at eating slow and I never Learn my lesson

    Ok I lied! A few more...we started going to "pick your own" fruit farms, It's new for me , it was FUN and my kids loved it! It's a fun way to eat healthy and know where your food is coming from! The other picture is from our own garden we grow a lot of vegetables! The last one is 90% lean meatballs with Spagetti squash for noodles and organic marina sauce! Spagetti squash was new to me too and I'm obsessed with it! It's great with olive oil, little butter and pesto!!

I rarely weigh and when I do before I even step on the scale I tell myself no matter what this piece of plastic says I will not let it Dictate how I feel about my progress and it doesn't! I've had very few stalls that I know of. I just take it one day at a time and before you know 96 lbs gone! It took 8 months and that kinda seems like a long time when I say it but 8 months FLEW by! I can't believe it's been that long. It's crazy! Sometimes I re weigh 3 times because I just can't believe it.

    @@Shamroxx Thank you! I heard that a lot from people "you don't need that" blah blah blah. Yeah right! I was 267 on surgery day! Trust me I needed it! My best friend was supportive but scared. I've been in and out of town so we haven't seen each other in a few months so I sent her that picture above and she freaked out. I said " see now if I had listened to everyone I'd be 300 by now! Sometimes you just have to stop listening and do what' you feel is right for you. I feel like I took 15 Years off my body. Just walking/running (yes RUNNING! Without triple bras) is soooo much easier it's insane! It's the best decision I've ever made. I'm still amazed by it everyday. You will do great! Congratulations just get past those first week weeks and time will fly by!

    @@SeahawksFan I'm actually loving the bob, I didn't have any bald spots but some thinning on the sides. I HATE having hair stick to me in the shower when its shedding! It made my skin crawl! I couldn't take it any more. Guys flirting is kinda flattering ha! I'm married too but it doesn't hurt my feelings. I just smile and say thanks. My husband notices other men looking waaaaay more than I do
