Hello! I am 5'8 and had 0 co-morbs. I did have to have and keep a BMI of 40 due to that fact, throughout my 3 month "diet" phase which was a joke because I had to gain 8 lbs to stay qualified..crazy, but I did it and was approved the first go round. I stayed in the hospital for 2 days. As far as the hair yes, I lost hair from month 3-7ish it happens which is the reason for my lovely new short hair. I can't complain I'm down almost 100 lbs and I like my new hair sooooo whatever, small price to pay. As far as water everything is a work in progress and you can't really rely on having any of the same outcomes as me or anyone else for that matter. It's just a journey you have to take for yourself to see what happens. It's a blast! No regrets!!

When did you have surgery?

2 weeks. Once I hit soft/purée foods, mine was combined.

It will depend on the time frame they want the test done in to be valid. I'm not sure why you would even need a colonoscopy? I didn't have to do any of those test. Your right he will be able to tell you for sure, good luck!

@@rnsamantha I was doing that quit a bit, I went practically vegetarian for awhile but drank my protein shakes to keep protein count high. Meat is hit or miss with me too. I think chicken is the worst, and I'm a notorious fast eater, doomed! I'm not really sure what you could do since I'm In the same boat but do vegetarian for awhile....

Side note: That hike almost killed me! I'm a walking miracle! Ha!!

Coffee is acidic so it could be contributing to the problem. Go a couple days w/o it and see.

One of the main reasons why you can't wear a bra besides it being in the way is because a lot of bras have metal in them, if God forbid something were to happen where you were to need a defibrillator used to restart your heart you would NOT want any metal on your body while being shocked. You would get fried. Trust me nobody is going to give a second thought to what you look like, we healthcare professionals see so much on a daily basis it's not even worth mentioning, unless you come in the ER with a foreign object shoved up your butt....we will laugh at you behind your back and then keep it moving good luck on your surgery!!!

That's crap! You can/ and probably will feel hunger. I didn't for the first 6 months but I do now.
