  1. Sorry it took so long to respond I was spending the day with my middle daughter trying on school dance dresses....yes, both of us (me for fun) I never got to go to prom, I was pregnant with her sister at that time so today I got to "semi" live a part of that. We had so much fun and I'm positive I would have looked better toady in a dress than I ever would have back then. She's one of my major inspirations. She says things that brighten my world without even knowing it like in this picture today she said "Mom Look how easily my arms fit around your tiny waist". Priceless!
  2. Thank you all so much for all your kind words! You guys in ow how to make a girls heart full!! Everyone on here inspires me daily in some way or another either in the amount of weight lost or just the amount of determination and willpower you all posses and use on a daily basis to reach your own goals. Every pound lost is a success, every time you make even the smallest decision to chose a healthier option and wake up with the "I can do this" attitude you are wining in the game of life.
  3. @@OKCPirate No!! That's a horrible suggestion! I pranced around the coveted "men's room" once and almost got burned at the stake. DO NOT go in there unless you want to read about how the penis looks bigger now......so maybe I peeped a few weeks ago but it was enough to make me not want to go back! It's like when someone tells you you're forbidden to do something almost like medusa in this case though, I promise you don't want to see it!!! -

    Sushi?

No but I did 8 months post-op. I can only eat about 2 slices. I opt for the sashimi salad instead and get rid of the carbs.
  5. @@Shotochick Every time I read the word "Hussyband" it made me laugh! Now I have to go back and re-read.
  6. I also have no doubts that a lot of us were "fat shamed" just not to our faces. Most people are too much of a coward to say it to your face like that Nichole bi*ch that made the YouTube video. She had a whole lot to say to a camera but I can almost bet my left foot she never said it to anyone's face. She's a nasty person and if I had the chance to speak to her I'd have no problem having a come to Jesus meeting with her.
  7. @@Tootsietoes Fortunately for me I was never fat shamed that I know of. I think I have a "I wish you would" look about me that kept people's mouths shut. I didn't have a lot of the "fat" issues like finding a man, friends ect.. I treat people the way they treat me. I surround myself with good hearted people. I personally think that people have WAAAAY to much time on their hands when they open their mouth up about someone else's life. Everyone has flaws they can spend that wasted time on fixing. One of my favorite says that I love is "If you think you're perfect try walking on water". That will shut people up real quick.

    Pre op binge

Well if you try that after surgery you're going to hurt like hell. You will be forced not to do it. Unless you like excruciating pain...I doubt you do. Just Get back on tract.

@@Titaniumsleeved2014 What you could do is find another Dr. If you're not getting the answers and help you need then find someone else. Do some research I don't know your history so I can't give you any advice like that. You need to get some help.

Woot woot! Way to go stud muffin!!! Keep it up!!
  17. I was freaked out and backing out until they knocked me out in the OR. I'm not sure how long it took me to wake up? I don't even remember going to sleep the only thing I remember is waking up. It's the oddest Feeling to see the time change on the clock. I know it's scary, that was my first surgery where I was put under but 10 months later I'm 101lbs thinner. I wouldn't change it for the world! I'm sure you will do just fine! @@Yadi Perez
  18. @@Djmohr Wow that would be scary! Thank goodness your ok! I hope it all straightens out for you. Just a bump in the road I suppose.
  19. @@Margie122 I never put any time limits on myself. I just let it happen when it happened. If it would have taken 2 years to get here I would have been just as happy as long as it's off and stays off. Through this whole process I've tried to just let my body do what it needed to do. I spaced out my weights on purpose, I refused to let that scale bring me down and because of that it hasn't had a chance to. I haven't been disappointed yet...dizzy for awhile but I'll take that, it was a sign that I needed to focus on my fluids which I am now. It's amazing how much your body will tell you if you just take the time to stop and listen. Good luck to you!!
  20. @@Djmohr Me?! 121lbs is crazy! You're an inspiration yourself! Congratulations to YOU! You should be so proud!
  21. @@ShrinkingPeach Thank You! You will get there. I have to give the credit to my surgeon because me made my sleeve perfect for me. I defiantly haven't been perfect (not exercising) but I do watch what I put in my mouth for the most part. I try to follow the rules. I'm still a work in progress like everyone else. It's never ending but I don't mind that.
  22. @@Geenabay That's amazing! Good luck on your own journey! I wish you nothing but success!
