@@BLERDgirl I actually read that and forgive me I cannot remember who it was from but I have had a spoon full of natural peanut butter and I add a small drizzle of creamed Colorado honey to it. I do like that! -

I'm still doing shakes and then a protein dinner. My throat has been hurting a bit so I may just do shakes tomorrow because of that. -

I'm beginning to think this whole Psychiatric Evaluation is a crock of (poop). It's a way to make money obviously. When I had mine they couldn't recommend surgery and they couldn't say not to. Real informative I know. I feel like I've more than succeeded and I didn't even get a defiant yes. They got a good 500 from my insurance company and I got surgery so... I've seen many eyebrow raising post that make me wonder how in the hell they ever got approved for surgery in the first place. How can someone with a serious eating disorder get cleared for surgery before they even have it under control? I'm not a psychiatrist and I'm not a surgeon BUT even that makes me say DUH! Of course they are going to have problems! Same with the Nutritionist a few appointments aren't going to be enough to teach people especially "older" people how to properly eat. I had 4 mandated appointments before I was cleared. I've been studying the body for 8 years and nutrition for the past 2 and I am still learning everyday. With all that being said people have to take some responsibility for their own health. The Internet is a wonderful thing. If you don't know, you learn! There will be more. Today I found out my insurance has approved my orthodontic treatments so I will have a palate expander in December. That would cause me to be on liquids for awhile. It will be put in on December 18th so I may not even have to worry about the holidays. Mixed blessing! -

Well my 5 days are officially up! I'm going to bed soon. I want to thank everyone who joined in and did this with me. I also want to thank the ones who didn't but stopped in to encourage us that were. It been a "different" kind of 5 days to say the least. It hasn't been too hard but willpower is amazing when you actually use it. We will see what tomorrow brings but as far as the 5 days is concerned we kicked it's butt!! Hopefully this is just the kick in the pants I needed. I made a promise to myself that I would never allow myself to go back to the old me. This surgery was a "gift" and I'm not a Indian giver!! I hope you all found some success with this Be bold and be blessed!
