Are you eating two fried eggs cheese and Popsicles all in one sitting? I guess if you say it's in your plan it's ok but I would try to get some protein from other sources besides cheese. I don't know what brand of cheese you're eating ect...but some cheese has a lot of salt & calories. It can also stop you up in the BM department. It's ok but I wouldn't eat a ton of it.

Ok these may just be mine but I've found two negatives from losing a large amount of weight. I've discovered both of these while taking a bath (figured I may as well set the scene) 1) My once plump butt is boney, and I'm talking sit down to shave my legs and it hurts boney. I feel like my skinny friends really dropped the ball on not telling me this! I'm going to have to seriously rethink my friendships since it's blatantly obviously they care nothing about my well being. 2) The weirdest one, shaving my underarms! It's like someone came and built the Grand Canyon under my arms! WTH happened under there?!! I swear if it were any deeper I would be shaving my lungs!! So odd! I have to literally pull contortionist moves to get everything shaved properly. Isn't November no shave month?! I think I'm going to join the men on that one because this shaving is for the birds!! I know you guys have some you could share too! Maybe give a girl a heads up before I forgo bathing all together. I would include pictures but Alex would probably frown on that so use your imagination

@@Alex Brecher I got my stuff! That was some fast shipping seeing as how I ordered my stuff on Thanksgiving AND we had a weekend. I made the coco hazelnut (pudding form) for dessert later! Thanks for the extras!

I rarely go out but when I do I stick to fish and seafood items. If it's fast food I do a small Wendy's chili or a subway salad with turkey & oil and vinegar mix. I like sushi so I will do a sashimi bowl and edamame as a side. Which is exactly what I had when I was in KC last week. Luck for you guys I took a picture. Yes, I'm one of "those" people. I couldn't eat much but it was good!

You will need to be on a higher protein diet after surgery too. You should really talk everything over with your surgeon and Nephrologist if you have one. I specialize in kidneys and work for multiple Nephrologist in multiple dialysis clinics. You do NOT want to ruin your kidneys. No amount of weight loss is worth that. I promise!

Hello all! I've been gone for a minute but I'm back with a whole heap of "issues" for someone to fix. First, the most aggravating and STUPIDEST thing I've done lately...my husbands decided he was going to start dipping again but "just for a little while" he didn't actually come out and tell me I found a can of dip in his man purse (cooler). The next day he brought me home a pack of cigarettes. I can only assume this is a lets be stupid/bad together since I quit smoking over a year ago. I wasn't going to smoke them and then mistake number two happened, I had a mixed alcoholic beverage. Now, before anyone freaks just remember Elode is human! Mixed beverage along with lack of good judgment making skills = smoking cigarettes. Ok, so that's that. The pack is gone after two days and I haven't had any and refuse to go down that horrible path again so I'm not buying any and threatened physical harm to him if he brings any in this house. I've noticed that all day today I have been snacking, constantly! I believe it's from lack of having cigarettes so I'm pissed about that! On to the next issues. I have spacers in my teeth..FINALLY!!! I have a very narrow upper palate that I've been wanting fixed since I was young. We have started the long process of fixing the teeth for a "beautiful smile". Next week we are putting in a palate expander followed by braces. I'm so excited but my orthodontists is recommending that I have SARPE surgery (surgically assisted rapid palate expansion) since I'm an adult my upper palatal bones have fused so it would be faster and "easier" to have surgery AND maybe have my lower jaw moved back. I won't know until January so I'm pre-worrying as usually. I will have to have my mouth wired shut for up to 6 weeks. Blessing for my husband not so much for me. I'm worried about being on liquids for that long and looking sickly. Now I don't know if I should stop actively trying to lose weight or take my chances? Well there you go! One weeks worth of drama!!

I'm trilled to report I actually lost a lb the day after thanksgiving! First time that's ever happened. I throw away the pies in the morning. I didn't need anything tempting me. The holiday is over.

@@magtart Hang in there. It's not easy. I quite two years ago on the 4th of July. Cold turkey. This was a slip up but I haven't had any since and won't. Even after 2 years I get moments where out of the blue I think, humm I wish I had a smoke. It taste HORRIBLE!!! Just remember that!

I hope you are all enjoying your holiday! I was a new surgery at this time last year so I didn't have a Thanksgiving. I'm still thankful today for my sleeve, more so now that I've seen the results. You just remember that if you're a newbie and have to sit this Thanksgiving out! My day was made even sweeter thanks to Alex and winning a $50 gift card to the BariatricPal store! Ive already used it! Ha! I had to do something while waiting for this bird to roast! Sending you all best wishes!!!
