@@nikki9 They have some really good broths now. I don't know if you can have them but Swanson has a hot n sour soup, Thai ginger, and mexican tortilla, all broth all really good 0-0.5 g fat per cup. I'm on the 3rd day of my 14 day liquid diet, my husband brought me those and it's been really easy thanks to that. I also get protien shakes though.

@RJ'S/beginning What is a "nut" are we talking about someone's profession? I'm confused at the "nut" acronym? Who's a nut? Do I have a nut?

@@solmedina Oh good maybe they will be able to tell you which is more fitting for you. My surgeon pretty much said sleeve! I thought I Would be getting RNY and he said sleeve would be much better for me. I think it's ultimately up to you though. The more I researched the sleeve the more I agree he is right. I just don't Know anyone with a sleeve only RNY thus is the reason I joined this site!

@@Mojo56 It's a stretchy wide band that velcros around your belly and holds everything in. It makes it easier to move around,turn,walk, get up and down. I had one when I Had my c-sections and it was an absolute God sent! I didn't get one with my first and the pain of moving was horrible! They last two were a breeze in comparison. I was asking about using one in an earlier post and some people did get one and others were never offered one. If my hospital doesn't Give them out I will buy my own.

@@bikrchk That's funny and horrible lol! Ok in that case I would want to leave too. I pray I won't have a roommate and if I do at least a decent one. I have ear plugs, a sleep mask, and spray and I'm not afraid to use it!!!!

@@solmedina did your surgeon give you any advice on which one he/she thought Would be best for you?

@@Vfoster317 Yes I got my approval of the 17th but that wouldn't have been enough time to do the two week liquids. It's ok because I never said I wanted it done on the 21st that was all the Drs office.

@@bikrchk Lol! They don't get to send my a@@ home I paid extra for that lap of luxury so I'm staying! I won't be thin yet so good luck dragging my big butt out of there!!!

@@Vfoster317 I don't have your insurance sorry, but I can tell you when I called my insurance company I also had a surgery date I had never heard of. I think it's a way to get them moving on the case. It didn't work for me though because they had Oct 21 and my actual date now is 11/3

Surgery is 11/3. I. Only my liquid diet. I would probably still be waiting for a letter...I'm not a patient person in some respects.

@@christo5 Not only did I feel like that I did it ! I bugged them so much they said they weren't allowed to call me with results only send a letter that they actually did call me with my approval! I guess they didn't want to hear my lovely voice anymore!!

Question! If you can't drink a lot of water fast how do you Cool down after a hard workout? I've been wondering about this. I know when I workout really hard I suck down the water. So when your hot and burning up thirsty you have to still sip the water? Just curious about how that works with working out ?

@@KMCarlson Had c-sections and worked on the maternity floor too so that's what I was thinking! I am also Requesting a binder!

Yay! I bought all the shower goods so I hope I get to use them. Showers ALWAYS make me feel better!

Jealous! That's sad! All I have as far as siblings is a big Ol brother who I am hoping that my surgery will inspire along with my mother seeing as they are both much bigger than myself.I am the family "guinea pig" but that's ok because it's an even bigger motivator for me to show my family that it is possible to lose the weight after all our failed diets. I hope your sister will take the opportunity to take this healthy life style change you are making and use it to educate and help herself also. She may not have the surgery but she could learn some heathy habits with you. Or you guys can just make it a HEALTHY competition and see who can lose the most lol! If she doesn't want to be nice and support you maybe you could pass your old clothes down to her on your way to heathy fit land???????
