@@My Bariatric Life Hope you have a good recovery! It always amazes me that people have lip injections! I always hated my big kisser growing up until the girl at the Mac counter told me to just hush " people pay to have lips like that" of course I was younger was like yeah right! Well I guess they do! Congratulations, have fun picking out lipstick.
  3. Find yourself a hobby! Something you can do now and after surgery!

I think I can see the light ...

See all that "playing hard to get" paid off!! Ha! Yay! I hope they get the move on!

    Not really a pre-op diet

Every surgeon has his/her own pre-op Requirements that they feel is "right" . Yours is a nice easy one : )

    Devastated....

@@CharlotteWebb The sleeve is a great option and if that's the safest surgery for you then don't be upset. There are tons of people who would love to have this surgery and can't. Since this is a new procedure to you just spend some time researching it. You can find out all kinds of info, Internet, youtube, reading ect...and you always have the option of not having it done at all if your against it. No need to upset yourself!
  7. They have liquid vitamins but my surgeon didn't care that my vitamins are chewable he just wanted me to get them in and I was ok with them. They pretty much dissolve in your mouth once chewed really well any way. Same with my calcium and b-12 is a sublingual dot that dissolves under the tongue. If you have chewable just ask the surgeon.
  8. No, you REALLY don't! You've made it this far kick the willpower in high and get it done!

    Curious

Your Dr will give you a time frame , probably in your discharge instructions from the hospital. Just like with anything else of personal nature it will be based on how you feel and how you recover. Everybody is different so You probably won't get an exact answer on here. I don't put my husbands and I's love life out for public display but just know that you will know when it's time. : )@@alyssa9409

    I Am So Nervous

Well in a round about way...I have BCBS Fed and my requirements where to have a BMI of 40 documented for 2 years. I didn't have a BMI of 40 in fact my BMI's that were documented were 32-35 ish I did however have Exactly 40 at my first weigh in with my surgeon after gaining 5 lbs to qualify. The insurance companies are weird little creatures. I worried myself sick that that would be just the ticket they needed to deny me but I was approved 1st time around so it's really hard to say. I also had no comorbidities. Try not to stress too much.@@Toodie1974

  17. @@MrsMurky721 Awe thanks I try! It's almost like I live on here but I assure you I don't : ) Do you think if you did half water (maybe Less) half juice you would like it? The only other thing I did at that stage besides coconut water (which is an awesome hydrator) Is I bought some Popsicle molds from target (online) and made up some syntrax nectar protein in fuzzy navel (stronger than normal) and made protein popsicles. That's about it, I didn't like anything else.

    Happy dance!

    Congratulations to you!
  19. You should have a plan from your surgeon as far as what to eat ect...right? It's hard to tell you what to have when we don't know your individual plan and nobody wants to tell you something that will go against your surgeons advice. As far as a tracker I use "lose it" "my fitness pal" is popular with a lot of people. As far as keeping track of your vitamins a pill container (W-f) one is really helpful, that's what I use because I couldn't remember what I took ect. If you know your stages it may It will be easier for people to help you with suggestions. @@Elizabeth21

    Having a hard time....

The stages are a lot of trial and error. I know when I Was going through the stages one day I would LOVE something say yogurt, and the next day the thought of it made me want to puke and I couldn't eat it. If your stomach isn't handling certain foods it's ok to back track a little and stay with something you can handle then try again later and you may end up with a different result. I am over 6 weeks out and some days I can eat good and others I just Want my shakes and little food. Eventually it will all even out just makes sure your getting in your fluids, protein, and vitamins! Take your time with the foods. Are you taking b vitamins to help with energy?
  21. Plain water was/is the hardest thing for me to get down. When I was in your stage I drank coconut water and isopure to get my hydration and protein in. It's all a work in progress but you defiantly need to stay on the fluids. Maybe you just need some flavor added? The weight loss is more than likely a lot of dehydration. Just keep sipping it will get better you just have to be conscious and stay focused when you are awake.
