@@realrawuncutsleeve What?! Why would you hate the weigh loss? That's the whole point! Do you mean how you will look after?

@@allyray Well tough tit!! They shouldn't be making you feel bad! And if he is embarrassed I'm sure you can come up with some embarrassing stuff they did growing up so he will just have to get over it!

You can google it but from what I read some people so back to a kind of pre-op diet. If you didn't have one mainly protein shakes and low sodium/sugar Liquids.

@@allyray It's ok that they are concerned it's sweet, they love you BUT the fact of the matter Is they don't have to live in your body, and if they've been healthy and fit all their lives then they can't possibly know the struggle. You do however that's why this is ultimately your choice. I have no doubts that You will get the support you need once it's over. They are just worried about you and I assume they probably don't know a whole lot about WLS or have a personal experience with it so it's a lot of unknown for them. You have raised those kiddos to be teens now it's time to do something for yourself, a Unselfish gift that has the potential to keep around and health for them in the long run...I wish you nothing but the best of luck!

Are you eating a lot of carbs or salt?

Elode replied to Brandalyn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@Brandalyn Drink broth and cut out all the crystal light junk if your getting sweet overload. If you like coconut try coconut water , it's not as sweet and it's a really good hydrator vs just water. -
@@amyecpa If I would have Had the chance to do it sooner I would have. As far as time with the surgeon I only saw mine twice too through the whole 3 month process, once in the beginning and once a week before surgery. As far as the NUT mine was nice but she taught me nothing! Everything she told me (and I mean everything) I had already learned through my own research. The pre-op and post op diet where on paper so I didn't need her for that. Basically it was a waste of my 150+ bucks! I had to go for insurance purposes though and I know a lot of people learn a fair amount from theirs I just didn't. So all in all your basically getting what I had but in a much faster time frame! Good!

@amyecpaNow that makes more sense!

@@auntiemel Eeek! I really don't think there is anything you can do If you find something that works let us know! I Think most people end up cutting their hair short from what I've read. Sorry your having to deal with that!

@@amyecpa That's really quick and I don't know how they can pull that off unless your a self pay patient.

Toddler mom considering sleeve surgery
Elode replied to Mega_100's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
@@Mega_100 It's just like any other "weight loss process" in a way. I can be time consuming, you will have a recovery period but other than that if you don't have any complications ect..it's just living. You just eat a little different and less but overall I don't feel like my life is dramatically different my Food consumption just is and I'm more mindful. I had a 4 yr old at the time and it wasn't a problem. In fact it will benefit your child way more in the long run! It's worth losing a couple weeks where you may not be able to carry them around ect.... -
@ Depends on your insurance company but yes they can defiantly deny you if you go under the BMI that's qualifies you. I've seen it done plenty of times.
