  2. @@Cyr I was doing 2 shakes a day with the premier, now I do one chocolate ready made shake with one scoop of syntrax PB cookie mixed In for 53 grams of protein (14oz) I eat though. If I don't feel much like eating I will make two that day and easily get 106 grams in.

    Taste change?

@@brandy31 My taste didn't really change at all. I don't have hunger anymore but when I do eat I still like what I eat...everyone's different.

    My journey

If your only drinking 4oz of the shake at a time make sure it's high protein. I mix a premier protein shake (ready made) with one scoop of syntrax PB cookie protein . It makes about 14oz and has 53 grams of protein. If you could break it up throughout the day you would be doing pretty good.@@smcclur3

    help! so nervous! advice?

I think most everybody feel some part of that. I was unsure/Nervous up until they knocked me out. I kept telling my husband "they won't care if I leave, I'm sure it happens all the time" "we should just go" I am incredibly thankful everyday that I went through With it! I'm still new-ish 10weeks but in that short amount of time I have lost 40 lbs, went from a size 18 to 12/14. I have no hunger (best thing ever!) my life no longer Revolves around food. I don't wake up every morning "ready to start a new diet" and I don't go to sleep at night feeling like I "failed another diet attempt" it was such a vicious cycle that I am extremely happy to be rid of!! I know it's scary but the benefits are so much more Awesome! Now, I didn't have any post op issues, I had a decent recovery and I'm blessed to not have the hunger (as of yet) every one is different so keep that in mind. I wouldn't change it for anything! I wish you all the best!

    Nuts/trailmix

10 weeks out and I still don't. Not because I can't but because they are trigger foods for me and I will eat more than I should...even at a slow pace. But nuts are good for you if you can control It!! I'm just not willing to take that chance......yet

    Random Questions!

    1) I don't drink coffee anymore, I use to live on it so I think I could probably have some I just personally chose not to start that habit again. I was drinking way more coffee than water...not good. 2) I just had part of a smooth this weekend with a friend, I had them hold all added sugars. (10 weeks out) 3) I don't drink from a straw. I have enough issues with burping I don't want to add to it. 4) redirect to 1
  20. Btw good luck on your surgery!
  21. People don't think before they speak. I heard the same thing at nearly 260 lbs! I'm 5'9 and did carry my weight quit well so I didn't look that big but needless to say I was, I knew I was and even though I didn't have any health issues I was smart enough to know it would only be a matter of time before I did. I think people believe they are being "nice" by saying such things but it's aggravating, almost as if yo don't deserve it. Lucky for me I don't give a rats a** what others have to say about my "looks" I had the surgery, I'm down 40 lbs and feel/look better and that's really all that matters!
