It's Getting Close...don't know if I can do this
Elode replied to hstrayorn's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Well if your anything like me you won't have any hunger after. I mean none. So it's really easy to not eat or "cheat". -
Never but I have had 1/4 of a salted caramel square...ha! I know it's nothing but still!
-
If I ever feel like I want something sweet I have a quest bar or use our magic bullet and have fruit-ice cream ( it's nothing but frozen fruit that comes out like ice cream, it's magic! )

Day 2 post op awful pain! What have I done
Elode replied to Rosie77's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You just had surgery, it's sucks but it gets better everyday. Hang in there! -
@@Pac-woman my average is 3.57 lbs a week. I don't weigh every week so I'm not sure the exact. If I've had a stall I don't know it. I try to stay away from the scale. All I know is I'm 2 lbs away from 50 and it's been 3 months. So see your doing good! I was a size 18+ now I'm a 12/14 I'm also taller than you according to your measurements and weighed a little less at the start. Everyone is different but it's only been a month you are just starting out so don't fret!

It's only been a month! Chill!

@@Essence46 Ok I was just curious. I don't have any hunger but I also don't workout (I will soon) I'm afraid working out will cause me to have hunger...I don't know if it will or not. If it's gone because they cut the sensors off then Maybe it won't have anything to do with it?

Mystery Question that is Plaguing Me!? Grocery Haul Videos
Elode replied to joatsaint's topic in The Lounge
@@joatsaint I use to love watching them when I was in the Pre-op learning stage. I was curious to see what people where eating before, and after surgery. It was part of my learning phase. I watched a lot Of VSG you-tubers! I don't watch it anymore however. -
Thanks quest bars are the best!!

I traveled two weeks after surgery (actually 8 days) I was also back To work and college at two weeks so it really just depends. If you do just make sure you pack all the things you will need. Water, vitamins, whatever diet you have. I felt fine, drinking water, taking vitamins ect was no different away from my house than doing it sitting in it. Same, same.

Yes and it's ridiculously low but I feel good and labs are on point so I roll with it. I get around 20 carbs with only 4 grams being sugar. 800 calories, 100+ grams of protein and 20 grams of fat. @@catlover2565

How do you know the sleeve is going to work? No long term data!
Elode replied to bangbangbarbie's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
There's not a "long "term study but there was enough Studies and evidence to prove it does work. The Bypass is defiantly no more of a "guarantee" you will take the weight off and keep it off. I know a few people Personally that have had bypass, lost weight and regained it. Truth is you can fail with any surgery if you don't do your part. You have to do the work to be successful. Nobody will be able to tell you how much you will lose with any surgery, again that will depend on your body and how much work you put into it. Good luck! -
Sad/Depressed after Gastric Plication Weight Loss Surgery
Elode replied to Green1's topic in Gastric Plication Surgery Forum
I assume it's to get ideas on what to eat and buy. I watched them before surgery because I wanted to see what the people who were losing weight were eating, and to get an idea of what the "diet" of a WlS patient looked like. I don't watch them any more.
