  2. Well if your anything like me you won't have any hunger after. I mean none. So it's really easy to not eat or "cheat".

    Feeling a little guilty

Never but I have had 1/4 of a salted caramel square...ha! I know it's nothing but still!

    Ugh sweets

If I ever feel like I want something sweet I have a quest bar or use our magic bullet and have fruit-ice cream ( it's nothing but frozen fruit that comes out like ice cream, it's magic! )
  5. You just had surgery, it's sucks but it gets better everyday. Hang in there!

    Bipolar Rant!

@@Pac-woman my average is 3.57 lbs a week. I don't weigh every week so I'm not sure the exact. If I've had a stall I don't know it. I try to stay away from the scale. All I know is I'm 2 lbs away from 50 and it's been 3 months. So see your doing good! I was a size 18+ now I'm a 12/14 I'm also taller than you according to your measurements and weighed a little less at the start. Everyone is different but it's only been a month you are just starting out so don't fret!

    Starving!

@@Essence46 Ok I was just curious. I don't have any hunger but I also don't workout (I will soon) I'm afraid working out will cause me to have hunger...I don't know if it will or not. If it's gone because they cut the sensors off then Maybe it won't have anything to do with it?
  9. Ps I just read your main question I don't have answers for the rest.
  10. @@heynowkc The difference for me is I have zero Hungary where as with extreme dieting which I did some stupid stuff like hcg...I was starving and could feel it!

    Husband for sale!

Well now you know what to wish for when you blow out the candles (if you get a cake)
  14. @@joatsaint I use to love watching them when I was in the Pre-op learning stage. I was curious to see what people where eating before, and after surgery. It was part of my learning phase. I watched a lot Of VSG you-tubers! I don't watch it anymore however.

    Travel After WLS

I traveled two weeks after surgery (actually 8 days) I was also back To work and college at two weeks so it really just depends. If you do just make sure you pack all the things you will need. Water, vitamins, whatever diet you have. I felt fine, drinking water, taking vitamins ect was no different away from my house than doing it sitting in it. Same, same.

    Do you count carbs?

Yes and it's ridiculously low but I feel good and labs are on point so I roll with it. I get around 20 carbs with only 4 grams being sugar. 800 calories, 100+ grams of protein and 20 grams of fat. @@catlover2565
  20. There's not a "long "term study but there was enough Studies and evidence to prove it does work. The Bypass is defiantly no more of a "guarantee" you will take the weight off and keep it off. I know a few people Personally that have had bypass, lost weight and regained it. Truth is you can fail with any surgery if you don't do your part. You have to do the work to be successful. Nobody will be able to tell you how much you will lose with any surgery, again that will depend on your body and how much work you put into it. Good luck!
  21. I assume it's to get ideas on what to eat and buy. I watched them before surgery because I wanted to see what the people who were losing weight were eating, and to get an idea of what the "diet" of a WlS patient looked like. I don't watch them any more.
