What to wear in hospital? What feels best?
Elode replied to OldMomOf3's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I wore lose silky PJs and had a nice fluffy robe and slippers, I also requested a binder for my stomach which was amazing for me....I'm all about comfort! -
Not necessarily. The surgeons office always puts a expected date on the insurance forms. That probably won't be your date. Mine did it too. When I spoke with the insurance co they gave me the date which through me off because I had not discussed any date with my surgeon at that time. It's just a projected date to move the insurance approval along. Call your surgeons office. @@LBS15 Sorry forgot to tag you in that

Just starting, question about sleeve
Elode replied to SAD HATTER's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@SAD HATTER If you already like exercise then you should be golden! I like it once I get going it's the get going part I have issues with. I am one of the "lucky ones" that has 0 hunger. I use to ALWAYS be hungry like you I would exercise and be starving so I would eat....lose cause for me. Now I never feel any hunger so I track everything I put in my mouth to make sure I eat enough and the right things..it's a pretty awesome feeling I must say weird to get use to after years of hunger but lovely!! -

Lol! Well thank you Billy!! My face may be shaping up but I will more than likely have a tummy tuck and something done with these boobs! We shall see. It's ok though you have to expect some things when you lose a bunch of weight. I don't mind I will take a little surgery over being almost 270 lbs any day!

Yes I did probably 4 days out. My surgeon explained the reason why it happens but I can't remember what it was. Anyway, I know this sounds nutty but it hurt so I punched my arm and it went away! I'm not telling you to hit yourself (I don't want to be responsible if you Knock yourself out but it worked for me:)
