How many calories/food are you eating? If you caloric intake is too low that can cause headaches.

Wow I'm surprised he can guarantee you any numbers. That's fascinating truth is he can't. He can give you obtainable ranges based on experience but there's absolutely no set guarantee numbers. Now with that being said you have the potential to do great with either surgery if you follow the plan and do your part! As far as which surgery you will have to do your research and figure out which you feel is best for you. Both are life changers. Of course I'm all for the sleeve but I could be a bit bias. Neither way good luck with your decision and future journey!

My husband is not attracted to me - 2 weeks post-op
Elode replied to marbelvsg's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
@@marbelvsg What?! That's just crazy! A few incisions are turning him off? I'm not laughing at your situation but I did lol at his stupidity. You can reassure him (if you think it's even worth it) that your incisions will heal and that drain will be removed. I'm not not going to bad mouth your husband And I'm not about to give you relationship advice seeing as how your husband/wife relationship is not my business BUT I would just focus on Getting your water, protein, and healing completed. Don't worry to much about his attraction issues, you can deal with that nonsense later...on to bigger and better things -
@@Wannabeskinnie My Walmart carries it with the regular PB I think? You may just need to ask someone at the store.

@@wannaBthinsoon I'm getting clip in hair extensions. I ordered them from Australia so I'm still waiting. They should be here this week (hopefully) they are 22 inches so I will have to take them to the salon and have them cut and layers. Hopefully it will all work out they are 250 grams so thick! We shall see. I will try to remember to take a picture once it's all said and done. My profile picture is my real hair and length. This is the longest it's been in like 20 years. It's still sheding. It stops and starts. I took the profile picture 3 days ago so you can see it's not too bad right now.

Yes, a lot of people do unfortunately. Mine just started (4 months out) I have a post in "trending topics" you can read over with lots of replies about hair.

Vegetables after weight loss surgery
Elode replied to Shannon Piper's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
We just made chicken tacos with a cauliflower shell that was really good. It's ground up after you steam it with an egg so it's soft, no problems with it. I've had a few bits of salad, steamed carrots, grilled beets ect... I haven't had any issues with anything. I don't normally eat much since I'm full of protein at that point.@@Shannon Piper -
Do I have to give up Coffee? If so, how? Suggestions please!
Elode replied to Elizabeth21's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had to give it up. For me it was a good thing because I got to where I was literally drinking nothing but coffee all day. I'm not sure if it's suppose to be for life or just during the healing stage. You will have to ask your surgeon. I did share a small cup with my husband the other day (black) I'm still alive so I guess it was ok! I've never drank black coffee before but it was fine. I defiantly didn't want to add sugar and a ton of creamer like I use to. -

Feeling really guilty and FAT
Elode replied to Thinkingthinner1109's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
@@Thinkingthinner1109 It's ok. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself! Your body got you to goal so don't hate it! It's going to be Ok. You have to indulge sometimes. It's life! -
Well I can't tell you EVERYTHING but I can tell you a few things about MY experience (not to be confused with what yours will be) I stayed in the hospital for two days. I have read about people being released the same day. It's not unusual. No one can tell you how fast you will lose weight or how much even on a liquid diet. That's impossible. I lost 12 lbs in the two weeks my pre-op diet was 3 protein shakes a day, Broth, sf jello and pudding. That's it. I don't know anyone who didn't initially lose weight. I'm pretty sure everyone does in the beginning. Now, wether you will lose a bunch little ect..Will really depend on your body and how much work you put into it. I know I'm not a ton of help but honestly I can only tell you what I know from my own experience. I'm 4 months post op and almost 60 lbs down. I don't Have any hunger sensor so I'm never hungry (not everyone has this happen) I'm not someone who can tell you about the exercising because I haven't really done any. I'm waiting for decent weather. I feel better now than I ever have. It's been a true blessing. I hope you have much success! Try not to stress.

It can be pretty traumatic and I don't know why (some) surgeons and nutritionist fail to mention it to the patients. It's pretty common so they have to know this side effect. My surgery team didn't tell me, I just happen to be on here before surgery and read about it, then I brought it up to them in the office and it was a "oh yes that can happen" well don't you think you outta tell someday something like that?!!! Especially women!! I was pissed! Not that I would have changed my mind but just the fact that if not for this site my hair would be falling out and I would have no clue as to why or be prepared for it! Thank goodness for this site!
