There's nothing wrong, you didn't stretch anything. Wait until you eat real food.

You just had surgery, yes I had pain the first 3-5 days but it lessens and eventually goes away. I'm 4 months out now and can assure you it never crosses my mind unless I'm asked. Give it a little time, I know it sucks but I promise you will get better!

Nope! But I know a lot have. If it's close to surgery date as in a day I would def tell them but if not just stop it! I know easy to say but trust me I did 14 days of it and survived, you will too! Hang in there! Good luck!

I need to vent...4 weeks out and very stalled
Elode replied to LisaLou30's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My advice: give your body time to catch up! 21 lbs is a huge amount of weight to lose in two little weeks. Trust me you do not want to lose weight that rapidly constantly. Sound good but you would be a hot mess. Relax! Keep working your plan. -
Ugh...frustrated...family..May gave to change my surgery date
Elode replied to Wannabeskinnie's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just have your surgery. If it's not actual life or death then do you. Just my opinion. Even if your husband is with you, you will probably only need him one or two days (assuming everything is fine, which I'm sure it will be). -
Got told by a coworker today that I'm taking the "easy way"

Ha! I did mine for 14 days. It can get old pretty fast and there's not a whole lot you can do when you have a strict plan like I did (water, protein shakes, broth, sf popsicles and jello..thats it) surprisingly I didn't find it too hard (and I NEVER cheated! Not even once!! Can you tell I'm still proud of that lol) I made sure to spread my shakes out and I found some really good broths from Swanson (Thai ginger, egg drop,Mexican tortilla ) so that also helped. You mainly just have to muster up all your willpower and push through. Just keep your eye on the prize! Good luck

Let me start off by saying I don't keep pictures of my old "self" so when my mom sent me this picture from thanksgiving I was shocked at how much my face has actually changed in this process. I knew it would but when you do a side by side it's pretty inspiring to keep up the motivation! 60 more lbs to go!!!

I'm honest, but should I lie? Did you?
Elode replied to MoMo12onTheGo's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My only advice would be, don't worry about what anyone else might think. Who gives a rip?! You do what's best for you, your life, and health. -
Exciting! Congrats!
