@@laurenella82 Do you take a PPI? Def get that tea! Im having some right now. It's the only thing I use. Make sure you let it sit for About 20 mins before you drink it a it has time to steep all the med out! And drink it at night before you go to sleep That way it will work for you the next day!

@@Books You probably won't feel "full" until your eating food with consistency. Fluid goes right through the sleeve. Don't worry about any " fullness" feelings until Your actually eating. Trust me I (4 months out) can drink 90 oz's of water a day but only eat 5 bits of food in one sitting

I ate eggs at about 3 weeks post because I had 3 days of clears, two weeks of thickened ect.. My advice would be start slow to see how your sleeve handles it. Also add a little Milk into your eggs when you beat them. It makes them softer, more fluffy and easier on your sleeve.@@melhach

Oh and a disclaimer I don't have your insurance so I can only tell you my experience but if they are telling you you won't qualify if you lose weight I would LISTEN!

I did a 3 month supervised diet and I actually had to put on 5 lbs before my first weigh in in order to Have my BMI high enough. It's crazy I know! I also couldn't lose any weight in that 3 month supervised diet or else I wouldn't qualify either..again stupid I know! So I actually needed up putting on 8 Lbs and losing 3 of it at last weigh in. I was approved the first shot. Approval took about a week and after that I scheduled my surgery for 3 weeks after. I had to do A 2 week liquid diet first and I need a extra week for school. It really just depends on your surgeons schedule.

It not just your Nut I still don't eat fruit (well 3 strawberries in 4 months so that a lie) fruit has a lot of sugar in it And your awfully early out. I would eat a piece of fruit before I ate any junk food though....you know in an emergency situation

I use premier protein ready made shakes and quest bars..daily. I don't know if they are available to you but that's what I use. 4 months out

@lele109It's nothing really if it's anything like mine they just asked a few questions and I answered 150 questions (annoying) test asking the same questions just in different ways. I felt like it was a complete waste of time but I had to do it. Just go with it, answer honestly and be done with it.
