    1 week post-op issues

Yes water can be hard I drink it better with something in it too. Do you like coconut water? I drank coconut water in the beginning stages because it's a Super hydrator @@FloridaSleeveGuy it's high in potassium and low in carbs it hydrates better than plain water and doesn't have the sodium like sports drinks.

Are you getting in enough fluids? Dehydration can cause your muscles to contract. @@FloridaSleeveGuy are you taking vitamins?

    Surgery is Wedesday!

They are popular the chocolate is all I drink. Glad you like them. Good luck on your surgery!
  4. I choose the sleeve because my DR said it was best and I trusted his decision.
  5. Good luck! Hope we don't see you here again! In a nice way of course! You don't even have to worry about blocking people anymore! I'm sure you will do just fine on your own like you said people do it ALL the time...their just not real good at seeing as over half of the population is obese. Hopefully you will be an exception! Good luck!!!
  6. I've never heard of any firming cream actually working. They have products that can work for short periods of time but nothing Permanent but just because I haven't heard of it doesn't mean nothing lets just a wait and see if someone else has

    Weight loss has stalled

It happens to LOTS of people! You just lost a bunch of pounds give your body a chance to catch up. You probably won't lose large amounts continuously Nor would you really want to it's hard on your body and you'll have a greater amount of lose skin. It's going to take awhile to get it all off don't discredit the surgery already you just started. Get use to the stalls they happen and it's completely normal if it's going to make you crazy stay off the scale and only weigh biweekly or something. Take body measurement. You will likely be losing inches when the scale isn't moving. It's ok you will lose more
  9. I think it's really hit or miss some surgeons say no some say yes. I use one periodically and have had no issues. @@staceymeaux
  10. If you haven't tried the premier protein shakes (ready-made) you might want to give them a try. Chocolate is the only one I can recommend because it's my favorite! Pre-op and today!
  11. @@gmacy Have them call it in again. I just had mine called in and I'm 4 1/2 months out. I'm not taking any chances.

    Hi from Florida

    Hello@@monicainfl and welcome!
  14. I actually followed it to the T. I never cheated not even once but I took drastic measures like eating (well drinking) my meals in my room away from the family. I Never went to long without a shake and some nights I was wide awake and new I'd be tempted to eat so I took a little zzzquil a couple nights to get to sleep. In the end I made it and was proud of myself so it was worth it Just to have the satisfaction of kicking foods derrière! I was only allowed 3-4 shakes a day,sf jello and popsicles (which I never ate the popsicles) and broth. Wow I'm surprised you were allowed candy!!

    Happy St. Patrick's Day

This makes me miss corn-beef and cabbage! I use to LOVE that stuff but I always had to have cornbread with it it's probably to salty now and fattening...maybe just the cabbage and turkey?
  16. No but I would have had I not been prescribed a PPI did you get a prescription for one? If not you may want to ask. That acid is not good on your new stomach.@@OldMomOf3
