    Website Difficulties?

Oh I have to re-write things almost constantly! I've learned to copy periodically so when it all disappears I can paste it back. It's extremely annoying. I almost quit posting all together for that reason. It becomes too time consuming. Maybe @@Alex Brecher could tell us why?

Sounds like your doing well, it all takes time keep up the good work!
  5. Your going to need a mind adjustment. Start now and throw all the junk away in your house. Sit down and write out a healthy grocery list. Research healthy snack options and get some. Track everything you put in your mouth. Drink more water. Try to focus on something besides junk food. Maybe start a hobby. Whatever just don't go back down that road. I had an aunt who did the same thing after WLS and put all her weight back on and is now miserable and depressed about it. You don't want that. Stop while your ahead!
  6. I have some when I didn't take my prescription my surgeon gave me. I don't know if I still have it because I keep my prescription filled. Maybe I will try to stop at 6 months post op....
  7. I have a mini ninja I bought at Walmart for like 20 bucks.

    Snack Attack!

Try making some kale chips. There are a ton of recipes and you can doctor them up however you please with seasonings.
  9. Our bodies do some crazy things after surgery. I've never had Blood sugar issues but while in the hospital it sky rocketed to the point I was being checked every 2 hours and given insulin. It all went away the day I left. Weird.

    What Can I Expect

My experience: I had pain directly after waking up. Day 3-5 where probably the hardest (at home) I had nausea only at the hospital when I stood up but subsided when I left so I never used my nausea prescription. I had a lot of stomach "demon"'noises going on. You can expect the barium swallow test to taste like HELL water in a cup...gross but unfortunately necessary. You can expect to not be able to drink fluids real well for awhile and you can expect to forget all of this in a month or twos time.
  11. I probably wouldn't go over 4 oz but how much does your NUT/surgeon tell you to have?
  12. Waiting is the worst.
  13. Anything that make you comfortable, soft plush clothing ect...good luck!!!
  14. I have the sleeve. I had full intentions of having GB but on first visit my surgeon said sleeve was the best option for me, I trusted him and his opinion And I'm glad I did. I wouldn't choose anything else. I don't know anything but this and I'm happy with it so why wonder?
  15. You know what's funny? I had surgery In part to AVOID being a "lab rat" later in life from the consequences of being over weight and unhealthy my whole life. If you think a couple months process is bad you better hope and pray you don't stay over weight and get any diseases associated with it. You'll think lab rat. Like I said before all the hating GOOD LUCK!!!
  16. @@applegal79 Yes, you should call your DR and ask for a prescription for a PPI. If for some odd reason they won't give you one then ask them what antacid you can have over the counter. You don't want that acid to hurt your new stomach or cause ulcers.
