It really all depends on your recovery. I had my surgery on a Monday and was back at school the following Monday. I was fine. I wore my binder for support.

Make sure you alternate sites, don't stick yourself in the same place over and over again.

Congrats on your surgery and weight loss thus far. Only suggestion for eating is keep at it..it gets better as time passes. Focus on your fluids for sure

@@amz85 No, no I did not "breeze" through recovery...it hurt...a lot BUT after a week it was much better and 5 months later it's forgotten Along with 65 lbs so....keep your chin up!

I liked refried beans with sour cream, cheese, avocado smashed up ect...

Don't stress it will all be fine. Relax or keep busy if it helps by getting everything together that you will need in advance. Good luck to you!

If you don want to tell them say your taking personal time. That's not a lie. Usually when you say "personal" people will drop it...except for a nosey few. If you happen to have a nosey few saying "it's none of your damn business" can also shut the questions up in a hurry. Then they will have a reason to talk about you, or perhaps they will encourage your leave of absence -

I took a estention cord for all my electronics, Chapstick, plug in air freshener (because I like the smell of home) music on my iPad, Heating pad...those are the only "odd" things I can think of right now.

@@Mike4132 awe thanks! I will def check that out. I have some meat marinating in the fridge right now and my husband brought me home a dehydrator! Time for round 2!

I know because I start a burp/hiccup combination EVERY.FREAKING .TIME. It's good to have a sign before its too late so I'm not complaining.....much.

Save yourself the yucky after taste and stick with quest....nothing beats quest!

Premier protein in chocolate! My favorite to this day and really the only protein I drink! I don't see why pre-made would be an issue ? I only use the pre-made but if you think it will be a problem just ask

@@PMJ Well for heaven sake don't tell anyone your going to eat it/have thoughts of eating it/ dreamt about eating it.....You just keep that to yourself! You don't want to become known as the "bragging pre-opper"'do you!!?

@@Cleo's Mom Well that just sounds odd...people really said that stuff? Like actual words typed out? That doesn't sound right. It seems like I read that post and responded to it but nothing like that. It Seems like maybe she didn't quite realize what all could happen with the sleeve and the adjustments that you have to make. It's almost impossible to know the outcome of this surgery but maybe she didn't get enough information in the pre-op stages. It can be hard to adjust especially if you were ill informed or didn't do any research of your own? Hopefully it's just a phase and she will get better as time passes and she progresses. It's too late to change now. I feel bad for her. Not everyone can adjust so quickly. I feel like I was prepared and ready so I didn't have that depression stage so I can't really relate but with that being said she shouldn't have been made to feel worse if that's what indeed happened. All I know is I'm keeping my a** out of red robin and if I ever do go I'm not telling ANY of you!!
