My name is Nicole, and so far I am about 3 months post op. being only 20 years old when I got my surgery I had a lot of people saying oh well you don't need the surgery you aren't that big and the list goes on and on. I ended up with few people supporting me but that was all I needed so I received my sleeve 1 week after my 20th birthday, and it is the best decision I have ever made. I started thinking about the surgery at the age of eighteen because I had been over weight my whole life, and it took a toll on my body so when I was 18 I had a herniated  disc that would not self fix, and I was told by the surgeon after surgery if I don't get off the weight he will see me again in the near future NO 18 year old ever wants to hear that so I had a few hiccups with insurance coverage but it finally came through for me it has been difficult but I would not change a thing.
