On pre op diet for a week one more week to go... Still hungry w horrible headaches but not cheating just not happy but I am down 11lbs ;()

I didn't need to loose any weight pre op I'm just happy with the results from pre op diet challenge. My doctor said no solids liquid is to prepare for after, help liver and stomach adjust for procedure. Ask ur surgeon they are all different but I'm not taken any chances that could complicate my procedure.

I'm not allowed any solid foods ????

Mostly whey protein and broth but sometimes sugar free ice pops and jello..... No fun but I am down 8 lbs

I'm only allowed : Broth Crystal light Protein shakes Sugar free jello Sugar free ice pop Water And I truly can't stop thinking of food. I'm not a big eater but my stomach is soooo loud!!! I put ice chips in with protein and crystal light just for the chewing factor but still hard - ten more days!!!!

So excited for my procedure but this liquid diet just may kill me only on day four and man was my stomach growling all night! Tryin an new turkey broth today my fiancé found and I found if I use crushed ice in Protein drinks it feels like I'm eating a bit chewing on ice lol. Mind over matter. But hard very hard! So nervous about pain I've had several cysts removed gallbladder and appendix and I hear this is worse so I'm pretty scared yet anxious! Get rest and ttys!!!!!

Def call back cause mine is at st b as well and it's been scheduled for a month I bet if u call st b registration they can tell u like I said his office is u organized but he's supper nice. Please keep me posted once ur out and up to it!!! So very nervous!!!

I saw him mid dec got date and time for procedure. Just call office or him u know they get busy and forget sometimes

I'm inly two days in liquid diet surgery is jan 27th be there 6am first case at 7am. Can't believe u don't have time! What hospital? Aren't u using Paragi??

This makes me nervous. My sleeve is in 12 days pre op diet hard but doable just keep thinking how much better I'll be for my kids. Currently 5"9 263 list 11lbs since oct not a lot but some better than nine. I am just hoping for a better result then I read. I met lady at hospital lab that works there that did sleeve last year eats better no exercise and down 116 lbs then I hear people eat and diet properly and not as much. I pray I'm doing the right thing - single mom Worries

Feel like I'm starving and it's only day two of liquid diet ????

Starting liquid diet tomorrow hope it's easier them it sounds! Gonna stay positive and just know it was make surgery smoother and less complications, that's my motivation Good luck all surgery scheduled 7am 1/27

@@JenniferO2188 I'm so excited but just think my nerves are getting the best of me, I see Dr. Paragi today so in going to talk with him. I look at these before and after pics and just can't wait to have to old me back and enjoy life w my kids. Making my pre op shopping list for today any suggestions ? Also does anyone have a post op menu or ideas they'd like to share. I need it written out with my crazy schedule ????

JenniferO2188 new to site not sure how to tag but hope ur surgery and ore io goes well. I'm so nervous and only my fiancé knows about surgery so it's not easy to vent. What r ur ore op diet plans? Any protein good that u have found??

I started back in august looking for a dr and oct met dr paragi I am scheduled for sleeve January 27th excited but scared. The office seems to be very I organized but as thy told me they have new staff cause he separated from previous practice. Long terms the dr has great plans for his building to have all testing done there unfortunately we are the first ones to office setting and they are working kinks out with is. It does seem that dr paragi is nice and well known within medical field. Getting ready for pre surgery diet : sugar free pops and jello, broth, clear protein and water maybe w crystal light. I have been cutting down portion sizes and meals already so I hope it doesn't effect my migraines too much. Biggest worry is watching my one ur old after procedure she is at that needed stage

I'm scheduled for jan 27th so keep me posted please, nervous about pre and post dieting and surgery frightens me but it must be done

I'm meeting with him again this week and plan to discuss I did go over with his staff and nutritionists and the situations did occur. He is within normal margins for mishaps leakages, clips, and comic around is what I was told. She confirmed major issues one death but due to high bmi and patient didn't donflow up care properly had problem with clot not sure if death was actual clot or insert if filter and another women recently had her bowel punctured and was in ice for a long time which I new nothing of unil last week. I guess it's just an uneasy feeling I'm doing this for me and my health but with any procedure I'm nervous cause I have six kids and they need me more that I need to lose weight. I will be discussing my concerns in depth his week and can get back to u if us like. I'm supposed to be scheduled for dec as well.
