He's also a customer of mine, so I kinda maybe slightly abused the fact that I had his cell. He didn't seem to mind. -
Sleeping/soiling Question
pinkbunies replied to pinkbunies's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
After I posted this, I sent a text to my Dr. and I didn't expect him to reply today but he did. He called me and we had a long convo. He said with the amount of Broccoli I'm eating that it is likely causing it and he said the same thing, that it gets it moving. He said that my stomach is smaller now and I process foods a lot faster. He said to avoid the Broccoli and if it still happens then to see him this week and he also said to avoid food right before bed which I've learned the hard way. I am hoping this is all it is. My mind went right to stomach cancer. -
Sleeping/soiling Question

Not insulted at all. It is something I've thought about. I'm out of Broccoli so I'm going to kick that for a few weeks. It's been a great filler. -

Sleeping/soiling Question
pinkbunies replied to pinkbunies's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Broccoli does cause gas. I am so glad I had a mattress cover on the bed. It's a brand new mattress. I think I'm going to buy a second cover just to be safe and sure and put two of them on it. The cover has saved me twice now. -
Sleeping/soiling Question
pinkbunies replied to pinkbunies's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had surgery in October. It's only started happening in the last month and has only happened twice. I generally wake up each morning around 4am to go to the gym. I go to bed around 9pm. Not eating the whole bag, maybe half of it if that. Around 4 to 5 ounces. The rest gets discarded. -

I also forgot to add that I've started taking Xanax again and that's really the only medication chance aside from the prescription anti-acid. -
I'm married so not like it matters, but it will still fun to have people throwing themselves at me lol

Has anyone become single as a result of their weight loss surgery?
pinkbunies replied to pinkbunies's topic in Singles Forum
Take the trash to the curb and bring sexy back and send him on his way. If you want to make him jealous, tell your getting it on with girls and then tell him he made you lesbian... oh don't do that, I'm just a spiteful person. I strongly urge you to see a counselor. It has helped us sooooooooooooo much. It is expensive but I just said I'm going to work more. -
Guess who had a melt down today...
pinkbunies replied to Idonerds's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Meltdowns are good. We all need them. -
Sleeved yesterday! How I feel 24 hours out... And when did you all get rid of the gas?
pinkbunies replied to Goldy6575's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I remember after getting out of surgery I was dry heaving really bad but they gave me something for it and I was good. The one thing I remember most is wondering where my BM was lol. 5 days later, all clear. The gas will go away. Just be patient. -
So here another noticing. I'm SUPER angry and irritated.

Maybe some Xanax would help? -

Anyone who did surgery in TJ willing to take a call?
pinkbunies replied to Joshua Barbour's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
TJ is amazing. What to expect? Are you flying in? They will likely pic you up from the air port, take you to the hotel, go over a few things with you, take you to the hospital, do some blood work, pic you up the next morning early for surgery, take you to the hospital, make you put on these annoying panty hose things, give you a shot to put you out, then you'll wake up with it done. That's how simple it is. -

it is finished... Had my surgery! What an ordeal
pinkbunies replied to SouthernBelle69's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Feeling regret is very normal. Just remember you can't have it undone and you have to move forward. In six months, your going to be so happy you made this change. -
Getting Cold Feet?
pinkbunies replied to NancyandZach's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Recovery for me was only hard the first two days. In fact, the day I had the surgery, I was on my laptop typing on this very forum. I went home a day early and returned to work that Monday. I am six months post op now and I can only eat half of a McDonalds cheese burger. Sweets are my down fall, especially frozen reese cups...the little small ones... I have to work hard to stay away from the candy aisle at wally world. I encourage you to suck it up and move forward with the surgery. I have no regrets at all and I wish I would have done is 10 years ago. It is an amazing feeling to be healthy and be able to wear things I never imagined I'd be able to fit into my life time. -

3 months out and pregnant
pinkbunies replied to kymmiej11's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congrats. Being pregnant after surgery is supposed to be better with the sleeve than without. I envy you. I want a huge family. At least 10 kids. -
I'll see if I can find the picture for you that I took.

The first couple days are the worst. Make the nurse give you the anti nausea and gas stuff. This will help. In a few days you will be up and going in no time

Worried it wont work
pinkbunies replied to staceymeaux's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
The Surgery will work. You have to do your part too. Don't worry, your stomach will keep you in line. In six months, no one will recognize the new you and I mean in a good way. A lot of people I have known for years now see me and don't recognize me, then the next thing I hear is OMG you've lost so much weight. It's a good feeling. I wish I would have done this ten years ago. -
Does your new stomach feel normal?
pinkbunies replied to downsizingdiva's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I too am at six months out and I don't notice it there unless I'm trying to eat too much. -
I've owned my company for a long time now. I've been in the same industry for 16 years. I go to peoples homes everyday and usually I visit with them around 4 to 6 times a year. I own a service company. In the last month I've been going to see customers that I have not seen since my surgery and some of them have been my customers for more than 10 years... they keep walking up to me to shake my hand and then say they were expecting me but they see that I sent someone different etc. Then I speak and they have a double take. These people I have worked for for years do not recognize me because I've lost so much weight. It's a great feeling and it tells me that it was all worth it. At least 10 customers I've seen since my surgery have had the sleeve done or are scheduled to have it done. One lady told me the same thing that I had said as my reason for doing it... health. She wanted to feel good again. She told me I was living proof it could be done. My see my doctor once a week and he can't believe how well I've done. Every week I go down 1 to 5 lbs. Sometimes its just 1 or 2, other times its up to 5 lbs and once it was 9 lbs in a week. Anyone else experience this?
