Awesome. Thanks guys. I went ahead and took one and made sure to eat with it. I'm feeling much better. Between the heat, the hot tub and the lortab, hopefully I'll be back to normal tomorrow. I have noticed that I don't have as much tolerance for medications as I used to.

Smooth move is my answer/go to when I feel like I've eat to much
pinkbunies posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's a laxative tea. I think I've eat to much today. I won't worry much. One cup of smooth move, with two tea bags and I'm sure it's all going to be gone tomorrow. Does anyone else do this? -
Smooth move is my answer/go to when I feel like I've eat to much
pinkbunies replied to pinkbunies's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've used Smooth Move on and off for years now. No side effects. Seena is all natural and it comes in the form of a tea. Smooth Move is very gentle. It might not be for everyone. I highly doubt it will make your bowels not function correctly. -
Smooth move is my answer/go to when I feel like I've eat to much

I don't think I have a dis-order. I hate feeling bloated and this stuff works great. I also enjoy the taste of it. I guess I could add more harm and say... I can quit anytime I want. Its just nice to stay on schedule and know every morning at the same time its gonna happen. After my surgery I didn't go for a solid five days and it felt weird. Now to argue on the other point, one could argue that I have an eating disorder. I did have to have surgery to get the weight off. -
Advise Needed - Eating too much
pinkbunies replied to JillC878's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It sounds like your grazing. I'm sure you think you are eating a lot but are you gaining weight? Is it an issue/problem that your eating what you feel is too much? -
Those of you that are at least 6 or more weeks out...
pinkbunies replied to TeacherMommy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 5 weeks out and I'm losing an average of 7 lbs a week. I'm not watching a diet or counting calories. I am eating anything i want. I've also eat ice cream every single day for the last week and still haven't gained or stopped losing. I do try to drink 4 Protein shakes a day. I'm restricted by how much I can eat on a daily basis so it helps. -
Wls and drug addiction
pinkbunies replied to gigim84's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've noticed that since my surgery I can't tolerate most medications. I've not had any alcohol yet though I suspect today I'm going to test the waters. I take Xanax for anxiety. I used to take 2 MG and it would calm me down. Now I take 2 MG and it makes me sleepy as ever. I also used to be able to take adderall XR but something about the gastric sleeve and the way it absorbs makes it not effective. Instant release is fine. As far as addictions, I don't think I have any to drugs or alcohol since my surgery. Def. not Alcohol as I haven't had any. -
Help I have to give up my soda
pinkbunies replied to gigim84's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I drank soda right up to the day before surgery. I even had it at the hotel the night prior to surgery. After Surgery, I had no craving or desire for soda. I used to drank 2 2-liter diet cokes in one sitting with no problem. Now I'm spoiling myself if I have 4 ounces of OJ. Yes, I said OJ. I drank more low calorie Gatorade than anything else. I also drink Water but I just don't drink enough of it. I know, bad habit. Case in point, once your surgery is done, I highly doubt you'll have these cravings. Your attention will go to wanting to make sure you do everything right. -
Smooth Move Tea works! !
pinkbunies replied to mhugueley's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You can also add sugar to it. Its nice to drink at night and know in the morning your going to go go go. It also helps you keep your colon quite clean. -
Thanksgiving depression
pinkbunies replied to tazpur74's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm cooking tomorrow and no resentment here. I just know I'm going to cook a smaller turkey and a smaller meal this year. No huge army sized meals. I like getting full of 4 to 6 ounces of food each time. -
How to end the stall
pinkbunies replied to bookgirl1972's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I ended my stall by eating more... and that included eating a cup of frozen custard every night. I think it sends your body out of the mind set that it is starving -
I'm worrying myself to death at the moment. I've followed everything I was told including no lifting over 10 lbs. I noticed a few days after surgery that I had a small area that was some what swollen on the left side of my stomach, right below the ribs/breast on the left side. Its not round and it doesn't hurt. There is no incision anywhere near this area. I'm wondering if this could be a hernia? I'm planning to follow up with my doctor after Thanksgiving. Was just wondering if anyone else has had this?

Yes. I am eating normal food now but generally I can't even finish a hot dog, or even half of it. I usually eat about 5 ounces of food and that's it.

YIKES! Weight Loss Surgery bill came today!
pinkbunies replied to WL WARRIOR's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow. Mine was $4600.00 cash price. My insurance said if you are fat we aren't responsible, go on a diet. Then they tripled my rates due to Obama care. :-/ -
But I'm glad I was turned down by this place.Mexico.

not to scare anyone

Hopefully your daughter gets a large settlement but its unlikely. Insurance Companies pay less and less and they have one goal in mind... to profit at the expense of others. -
post op 7 days pizza

I ate pizza about 9 days out. I'm at week 4 and chomping down on dominoes right now. -
I broke my short lived stall
pinkbunies replied to pinkbunies's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes. And i'm thinking about going to get more custard. Who would have ever thought upping your calories would actually help you lose weight. The only other issue I'm having is liquid intake. I can't get that number high enough. I'm getting plenty of Protein and my hair is growing too fast but I'll blame all the Jello. -
I really wanted to avoid my stall, so I started upping my calories and low and behold I lost another 9 lbs. I started eating soft frozen custard each night. Just a couple of scoops. I feared I'd gain weight. I went to the Dr. and weighed and nope 9 more lbs gone. I've tried hard to consume 1200 calories a day and boy its a challenge. I'm down to a size 33 now and my shirts fit, no more man boobs. I went to a different bank branch than usual and they know me but I haven't been in there in over 2 months. They didn't recognize me. They asked for my ID and I thought they were joking. Then the manager comes running out there and stops them and apologizes to me and then tells me how good I look. This made me feel great and I asked why they didn't recognize me... one of the tellers said you look...umm... then I chimed in and said...thinner? I wasn't offended. If this keeps up I'll be at my goal of 200 lbs by around January to February. I've taken control of life for once and it was the best thing I've ever done. I finally see what it feels like to be thinner, to not run out of breath, to have an unstoppable sex drive, to be attractive again and have people staring me up and down... and while its conceited I know what they want and what they are wondering LOL.

After surgery, did you find that your sex life got better as you got thinner or did it become non existent? How long should a person wait before having sex after Surgery?

I was told I had surgery to get attention
pinkbunies posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes, you read right. I was told today that I had surgery because I'm an attention whore. i was really puzzled. I don't deny I like attention, but I didn't do this to get sympathy or attention... I think dropping all the extra weight will lead to attention and I can't really help that. I had made my mind up and instead of making excuses or procrastinating, I found a place in Tijuana that could do it ASAP, booked a first class round trip ticket, went by myself and get my tummy cut out. My spouse didn't go with me. . All I heard the entire time I was gone was... I miss you so much! Please get home! We talked everyday I was gone. I got home a day early. We're both needy which we will readily admit but I couldn't believe what I was accused of today. Was wondering if anyone else has been told the same by their spouse? This was the first time I've heard anything along these lines. -
I was told I had surgery to get attention
pinkbunies replied to pinkbunies's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Things have got better for us. It was just a little bit of miscommunication for us. My biggest complaint about the weight loss surgery is my clothes are too big now. Counseling is something i would never have considered but I'm glad we did it. Now we have the over bearing controlling mother issue to get past and we are perfect. I think everyone in every relationship has one of those. She better be nice or I'll put her in a cheap nursing home when the time comes vs. The ritz Carlton of nurising homes.lol -
So discouraged
pinkbunies replied to christina1979's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Instant gratification doesn't happen for everyone. You didn't make a huge mistake. Your body is going through a lot of changes. Let time take its course and you will see results. Remember that you also need to exercise. You will lose weight without it, but if your not exercising your not going to lose weight as fast. -
I wouldn't worry about any weight loss yet. You just had the surgery. Give it a few weeks. It flies off so fast. I didn't have a fever. I did have mild discomfort until the drain tube was removed. Once the tube was out, I started feeling amazing within hours.

has the sleeve doubled or tripled your sex drive?
pinkbunies posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Have you found after you've lost the weight that you just can't contain yourself and you want sex all the time?
