  3. I am sooooo excited ( or should I b ?), he accepted my case ! He already sent me the forms . Has anyone had any experience with him or know of anyone thats dealt with him ? I cannot find anything negative on him on the internet....All I see is positive info ? Someone said that he never takes a case he doesnt think he cannot win ? I told him that I haven't been denied, per say, but my insurance says that "it's not a covered benefit" because we are small business... So, they won't even accept an appeal by a doctor, I can't even submit it. But I told Walter Lindstom this and he still sent me the forms ? So, what do you all think ? Should I go for it ?
  4. I was just accepted by them and was wondering how credible they are and does anyone have any experience with them ? And if you do, based on the fact that they accepted my case, what do you think my chances are ? Are they usually successful ?

    bcbs of GA covers lapband but employer doesnt

    I don't know , I am having the same problems with Aetna. Aetna PPO coveres it , but our plan doesn't because it is "Small Business" and it's not a covered benefit" if it's small business. I can't even go and try to get denied. They just won't accept anything from the doctors. LOL. Its a joke. Let me know if you find a loop hole. Good luck to you !
  6. Lap Band from me because my company has Small Business Insurance and it says that its not a covered benefit. How can I get by that ?? I feel I shouldn't be discriminated by that just because my employers are cheap and truley could opt for the large business insurance but I know them ( partially family) and they won't employ over the 50 people minimum to get that insurance just because of that am I am to suffer. I would have thought that PPO would be agreat insurance. But you can bet the boss gets everything of "hers" covered once it's denied and she's lucky she can manipulate the health plan to suit her needs and not the needs of the employees. WHAT can I do ? I am desperate ! Please help ! Susan :-(
