Got naked, nobody died of shame...

Although I am younger, I completely get you! So happy for you. I am Sleeved and it's so weird to be okay with walking around my husband naked. And I'm 28. Weight and babies make things look different. -
Help me please! I'm losing my hair

It just depends on you sweetie. Everyone is different. I have friends who consume 100 grams of protein daily and have had horrible hair loss, while I barley consume the minimum of 40-50g and take 10,000mcg of biotin and haven't lost any. I do know that African American woman have it the roughest just because they are generally very rough on their hair to begin with. So I would not mess with it if you can help it. Get it pulled up and leave it alone. Start taking biotin. It will pass. The worst is usually from month 3-6. -

I know this sounds crazy but you may need to push more food. Your body will come to a halt and go I to starvation mode. My body did the same thing around the same time you're talking about. So I pushed food to the max every 2 hours, loan behold dropped another 15 lbs in two weeks. People keep saying I'm eating healthy, exercising, but do remember your body needs food. I ate whatever I wanted. Of course I don't like sweet things, but didn't count calories. Because even though I didn't even try I still only ate approx 400 calories a day. Your body needs more to burn more. Try it and see if it works for you. I am 4 months out, and 45lbs down. -
Every doctor is different. I personally would try small bites of things and see how you handle them. Stay away from meat and bread right now. That will just hurt. I had mine 3 months ago. And was eating solid a week after. My husband had his a month ago, and he was eating solids a week after. And were told to take small bites and see how we feel. He tolerated a lot more than I could rather quickly. He was eating brisket at 2 weeks out. I couldn't do that. I still stay away from meat and bread. It is filling too quick and it's too heavy in my stomach.

Surgery next week but freaking out a bit
Prettyredhead replied to Cassierene's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I freaked out a few times before to and even right after surgery. With the OMG what did I just do... Some woman struggle with hair loss. More than others. It just depends on you. It doesn't matter how much protein you consume or how many vitamins. If your body wants to do it, it's going to. I've heard so many people say their doctor said consume over 100g of protein daily. I was told if I could minimum at least. I barley get in 50-60. And that's because I refuse to drink protein shakes after 3 months of them. I am just sick of them! I refuse to make them a part of my everyday meal. I am almost 4 months post op, I eat 50-60g of protein a day, my hair has not fallen out any, if it will it should start now and last about 2-4 months. They say usually post op 3 month to 6 month then it calms down. But I have really thick hair. So even if it did it would have to come out in clumps for me to see a difference. All my labs were drawn and my levels are all great. Even my iron of 15, and protein of 8.0... So just stay positive. It's great to hear stories but everyone is different. The constant stomach pain people talk about is from too much acid in their stomach. It doesn't feel like heartburn, it's just a constant pain and yucky feeling. I know because it happened to me. I up'd my dose of anti acid and wolla! Problem solved! Hope this helps doll. Good luck! Oh. And I am 28. Started at 208. Low BMI. I am now 165. 35 lbs to go!
