A tip my doctor gave me for stuck episodes is to try a tablespoon of sour cream or olive oil. It does seem to help make food go through. I get in trouble if I don't chew well enough or eat too fast. I am also on the fence about more fills and think I am just about at the green zone. It is coming off but much slower than I had hoped.

Three weeks in and I don't get a fill for a couple weeks. Definitely feeling hungry but am satisfied with much smaller portions. How hungry were you guys before your first fill? I am trying not to panic

Getting my 2nd fill on the 10th and hoping for some restriction. I can pretty much eat what I want and am still hungry most of the time. Trying to make good choices but the weight loss has stalled, -

I got my first fill today and surprisingly no pain. He put in 5 cc instead of his normal of 4 because I have been so hungry. I did not know it took time for the fill to settle and that is a relief because I feel no restriction and still feel hungry after eating dinner. I cannot wait to get to the green zone and getting this hunger under control. -
Do you have hiatal hernia? I had it found on EGD and it was fixed on 10/9 with my band. I have not had any reflux up into my throat since which is fabulous.

Hunger and no fill yet

Getting my first fill on Tuesday next week and I am a bit nervous but hoping that it puts the damper on my hunger. I finally stopped eating puréed foods and started eating regular food just chewing very well hoping this would help the hunger but not really. No problems with vomiting or pain. -
I am getting my staples removed tomorrow and am a bit apprehensive. Is it painful and do they usually put butterflies over afterward for support that they don't split open?

Getting banded tomorrow!

Best of luck to you tomorrow. I am a week out today and the pain has not been too bad and I am impressed already how my appetite has decreased already. -
I am a week out today and they told me only liquids that could go through a straw for 2 weeks so I am getting down cream of chicken or tomato soup and protein shakes. Then puréed foods for the next two weeks. Getting staples out tomorrow so I guess I will find out more about what I can purée

Sorry to hear so many of you are uncomfortable. I am six days out and I guess I am lucky, only had the side discomfort for the first few days. No pain other than a little soreness of the incisions that does not require pain meds anymore. -
Where's everyone from?

Banded for two days now!
janeykins1 replied to soundlogik's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hang in there. I am six days out and off pain medication for 3 days and am very pleased. The soups and shakes are getting boring so I am looking forward to being able to eat real food again.
