Gosh I think most of us have experienced that horrible chest pain of over eating. Most of us are very aware of how we are eating from that point on. Well except me and I am a slow learner had to be miserable a couple times before I made the connection lol -
No I lose an average of 3 to 5 lbs a week. I have always snacked though.

I do, I get hungry.lots of people say they don't feel hunger, I feel hunger. my cheese stick or yogurt is what gets me to the next meal.

Gosh it doesn't sound like dumping to me, I would be more apt to think beans were bad. Since you were fine last night. I am 8 weeks out so I am not a veteran by any means. I will be watching to see the other responses.

If it helps I am 7 weeks out and I tried a little of everything now I am so miserable I can't sit down. Not that satisfied full wonderful feeling. This is painful! I would rather had not been able to eat.

Dr Verboonen was my Doctor. He was wonderful! No regrets. I can send him a message on FB or text and he will respond every time.You can't find a dr in the States that will do that. -

I went to Dr Verboonen in Tijuana I had the Mini Gastric Bypass and my total cost was $6500.00. I know if you want the sleeve its only $4200. Dr Verboonen has his own clinic in Tijuana and Cancun. I was in Mexico a total of 4 days 2 nights at the clinic one night at a beautiful hotel,Then flew home. The price included everything( transfers, labs, clinic stay,hotel)except flights. -

I've read that only 30% of people who have bypass will experience dumping.I love sugar but not willing to find out if I'm a part of that 30%.

I weaned myself off caffeine one week before surgery. I tried to go cold Turkey but the headache was too much. I cut my consumption in half on the first day the in half again each following day. No headache then.

Yea not sure who come up with the whole line about not being hungry, but I was like you. How far out are you? If you can eat and your hungry then eat just make sure you do a little bit at a time. -
I just made a sugar free cake which sugar free frosting do you think that will bother me? I read somewhere that about 30 percent of the people who have WLS have a problem with dumping.

My trip home was fine, the hardest part of this process has been having no one close to turn to when I have questions. I have been very fortunate that I have not had any complications. -
The difference you feel between pureed and solid is huge. I was a little worried on pureed stage as well. I agree measure your meals and tracking them are very important. Good luck and keep us posted.
