Sorry your correct Dr Verboonen does not do plastics. I didn't realize this was a plastics forum. He did my MGB.

I have been eating little bits since about 4 weeks out. Tuna with mayo is OK as long as its the cheap kind (chicken of the sea in water) the more expensive (albacore) gets stuck. I can't eat even a couple bites of it.

Every time my food is stuck and im running to and from the restroom cause I'm nauseated my husband ask me " still think it was worth it?" Oh I get so frustrated! Its at that point he gets the "eye" and a very firm YES! Hang in there it gets better.

I snored really bad before surgery, now not at all. My husband used to wake me up nightly to turn over.

I take 2 fiber tabs every morning and have no trouble going.

I got the MGB it is $6500. The sleeve is $4200. I'm not sure how many MGB's he has performed but he has a website called the Obesity Goodbye Center. I am doing great still trying to remember to slow down when I eat. My only issue is that I have always been a fast eater, then my food gets stuck for a while. When I am thinking about it and I eat slow I have no problems. Dr Verboonen has been great. If I have any questions I either send him a private message on Facebook or send him a text. He always gets back to me within a few minutes to a couple hours.

My doc said no coffee for 1 month, after that it was fine in limited quantities

I did not check into payments, we went to the bank and took out a personal loan. I know at the seminar they handed out a flyer on financial options. The sleeve in Mexico with my Dr. Is only $4200. Hope that helps.

I am doing great! I am a lightweight (bmi lower than 40) I have lost 34 lbs and am so pleased. I wish there were more active members on this board.

I had the MGB and I am 3 months out. I don't dump so far, I have a hard time eating meat at this point. I'm sure it will get better. I went to Mexico because I was self pay as well. I paid $6500. With Dr Verboonen. No regrets! Good luck on making your decision.

Put my size 8 jeans on and didn't even have to lay on the bed to get them on!

Am having a horrible time with hemorrhoids! I haven't been constipated, if anything I've had very soft stools. Please tell me this is not a reoccurring event. Any ideas how to sooth my firing back side lol. I have the OTC creams

I have found that rubbing down just under my breast bone really helps. Also Tamg26k is right if you get it back up you will feel so much better.

I had a man at work look me up and down and ask if my Staples were inside or out? I honestly was confused at first, he then said (in front of everyone standing around the water fountain) I heard you had your stomach stapled! OMG I was so shocked I didn't even know what to say. People are so rude!

I am 9 weeks out and I get hungry! I am only able to eat a few bites and I am full for a couple hours. Then I start getting hungry again.

OMG! My surgery was Oct 1st as well. I am down only 31 pounds. You have done amazingly well. Do you mind if I ask what your start weight was?

I am 8 weeks out and able to eat about 1/2 cup. Over about a 30 minute period.
