Hi, I'm Patti, im 41 years old. I had the Gastric sleeve five days ago, October 8th, 2014. I weighed 249 lbs at my heaviest but ppl said I carried well, they did not believe my weight. Unfortunately I developed sleep apnea and has to use a c-pap machine to keep my breathing up while I slept. I decided to get the sleeve after several failed attempts at weight loss. Anyway, I had a very hard time swallowing the required amount of liquid while in the hospital so my stay was extended by 2 days, I was so depressed. While in the hospital I developed this thing where I'm salivating like crazy. I researched and found that this comes from my body thinking I'm choking so it salivates to help me get my food down, problem is, I have no food in my mouth! Ugh. This gets on my nerves. Well, that's my story so far.
