Wendyfm replied to ld33's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was lucky I work in a public school and have Summers off. I had surgery in July and went back to work August 26. I think I would have needed at least two weeks off anyway. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Is anyone's goal weight higher than the BMI chart weight?
Wendyfm replied to her1981's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Right now I'm at 172, happy here, but wouldn't mind 165. My so called ideal weight by the charts is 119-135. Not too worried about making it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

One year after sleeve surgery can you eat a whole bagel with cream cheese?
Wendyfm replied to Gail Ann's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
At eighteen months out I eat an English muffin every morning and have eaten bagel thins, I also eat rice and occasionally Pasta. My doctor gave me a limit of 120-140 grams of carbs a day. As long as I stay below that I'm fine. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I don't quite have the same problem, but at a year and a half out it is a lot harder to stay on track. If you don't do it, track your food intake every day. I use my fitness pal and definitely talk to your nutritionist and if your practice has support groups or get back on track support it wouldn't hurt to go to a meeting. Bye the way you are not a failure, you just got off track. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Wendyfm replied to ebonymc's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

I went home after four days in, haven't looked back since. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
