I go out to eat once in a while and order salads, chicken, fish and vegetables and a baked potato. When I can I order from the senior menu, I’m 56, so that works sometime if they have one. I also order from the children’s menu, especially at breakfast.

Side Effects of Gastric Sleeve Surgery?
Wendyfm replied to low bmi sleeve's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I used Miralax regularly and fiber pills and prunes. Prunes worked the best. You have to use any of these regularly before you see results. -
I usually order from the children’s or senior menu.

I had to have lovenox in the hospital and then had to give myself lovenox injections twice a day for ten days, I think. It could have been five day, surgery was three years ago. -
Are you measuring your food and portions? I didn’t think I ate that much salad until I realized my portions were out of whack.

Hi, everyone seems to lose weight at their own pace. I was a slow loser, but lost 100 pounds in a year around 30 before surgery and 70 afterwards. Have patience, keep to the program. Don’t get discouraged. You can do it.

Side Effects of Gastric Sleeve Surgery?
Wendyfm replied to low bmi sleeve's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Do you think the anxiety might be due to the blue d**k? -
When I was first sleeved eight weeks out or so I had pork for the first time. I didn’t chew it enough and then 1/2 hour later drank water. I was sick, stomach pains, foaming, vomiting. It’s happened a couple of times. You will remember.

What Post-Sleeve Rules Do You Break?
Wendyfm replied to SassyScienceNerd's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Before I lost weight my diet was pretty healthy, just too much food. There are a few things that are trigger foods for me for sure, so I don’t eat cookies or chips . Except the occasional cookie at work. I do eat pasta, and potato. I eat brown rice and other whole grains including English muffin. My carbohydrates are around 100 grams and proteins are 60 grams-80 grams and calories average 1200. I’m three years out and a consistent 100 calories down. After the first year vigilance is good, but it should be a life style at this point, not a diet. I still -
I’m three years out and this time of year is difficult, so I go with it. I eat things that I don’t normally eat and then when it’s over I go back to my normal eating habits. I’ve kept 100 pounds off for three years, so it seems to work for me. Don’t beat yourselves up for getting off the wagon, it’s not a short journey it’s life long changes.

I find it easier to hold myself accountable if I weigh myself daily. That said, if I do miss a day I don’t panic. -
Weight Regain After Gastric Sleeve
Wendyfm replied to DLovelySleeve's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I’m in my third year as well and it is definitely a struggle. After the holidays I am definitely getting back on track. That being said, I haven’t really gained weight yet, but it’s been a five pound yo-yo. I weigh myself daily and that helps. -
