Hello, I have been very frustrated too lately... well actually pretty much since I was banded in June 2014. It was a very slow process to get the green zone and some days I wonder if I am. I have barely lost 20 pounds and I seem to keep gaining and losing the same 5-7. It is very frustrating and I am disappointed in myself. It is embarrassing that people know I had this surgery and i am still overweight. The funny thing is, is that some days I feel like I need an adjustment because I can eat way too much and then some days (around PMS time) I can barely eat solids. I wish I has a support group closer but I just do not as I live in the country, 6 hours from a major centre. I need support too which is why I came onto this website again today. I wish you luck. Hopefully we can encourage each other in this journey. It certainly wasn't the magic solution I was hoping for

Hello Jencathen, I totally understand how you are feeling. Until a few days ago when I had my 5th adjustment I was eating pretty much like I used to. Felt like it would never work for me. Well, it finally is! You will get there too, just takes some of us longer. My surgery was 4 months ago and just now is it doing what it is there to do. How many adjustments have you had? For me, with a small band, I am around 6.7 cc and I think I am probably in the green zone. My nurse said that most people are between 5 and 7, but it really varies. Hi Jim, Thank you for sharing your story. I am currently in that very frustrating period before the band really starts to work with me. Your story gives me hope, so thank you again! I am going on four months out with virtually no weight loss yet. I will work harder at being patient, which hard for me. Congrats on your success!

I was banded on June 29, 2014, have had four adjustments and am certain I am not in the "GREEN ZONE" yet. I am becoming very frustrated and discouraged as I have not lost any weight yet. I started at about 190 and this is where I am today. What were your signs and signals that you were there? Thanks for any feedback you can provide!

Hello, I am in exactly the same boat as you. I am super depressed about it actually. I am starting to wonder if there is something wrong with me and that this just won't work. My nurse is very encouraging so I am trying to stay hopeful, but again it has been months and I haven't even lost any weight yet. Good luck to you!
