My name is Natasha, I originally grew up in Northern California but currently live in Southern Illinois. I heard about this website through my support group meetings and figured it would be another place for support! I'm only a week post-op after having a gastric sleeve procedure, so I'm just in the beginning stages of my journey and do not have much to share about the good and bad parts so far.
I decided on this procedure after many failed attempts on my own to loose weight, only to gain it back, and then some! I've been overweight for as long as I can remember, really since I was a child, mostly due to poor diet choices because my family didn't really know any better. I've also known a few people who have had the same procedure and told me it was the best thing they ever did for themselves!
Like I've already stated, I'm using this as another form of support and also for information and useful tips to help me succeed.
