I was a BAD diabetic.....I took over 300 units a day of combined R & N insulin. I used 10 bottles a month.....now I am down to using 3. 2 bottles of N and 1 of R. When I was on the liquid diet.....I was insulin FREE!!! Once I incorporated food back into my diet, I was back on the insulin. I am trying to ween myself off the R all together. Eating the right amounts of Protein and carbs is a science and what works for me ......may not work for you. I think that once I reach my goal weight, I will still be on insulin.......hopefully 1 bottle will last me a month. GOOD LUCK on your journey!!!!

Why does it bother you that you are the only one not drinking?? If anyone questions you just merely say that giving up a few drinks has helped you to lose weight.....I dont know with you but with me if I have a few drinks, then I get the munchies. You are doing an OUTSTANDING JOB....keep up the good hard work!!!

You definitely need to up your caloric intake to 1000-1200 per day if you are burning that much at the gym. If you are toning....remember muscle weighs more than fat so therefore your weight loss will be even slower. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

All of these ladies have posted some excellent comments. I am 6 months post op. I still have to put my meat in the ninja and chop it up very finely in order to eat it. But hey.....that is ok!! You know why.......cuz I am 100 lbs lighter!!! Is it an inconvenience.....YES!!! In your original post...you didnt mention how much weight you've lost. Don't be discouraged and don't ever let yourself think that you made a mistake by having WLS. Give you body time to heal and do WHATEVER it takes, eat WHATEVER you have to or can tolerate to achieve success and your ultimate goal. GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS!!!

From a man's standpoint.....why does it matter what you USED to be. No one is perfect and we all have a past and a little baggage. I don't know what those men were looking for ......but hey....it's THEIR LOSS!!!

The only thing that has changed about me is my pants size.

A lean cuisine meal isnt the most nutrious meal you can have.....contains alot of sodium which makes you hold Fluid and not lose weight. ALSO, some people lose weight slower than others. Personally, I woud go back and start over. Start a 5 day liquid diet, then go up to soft foods and stay in the 1000-1200 calorie range, 70-80 grams of Protein, no more than 50 grams of carbs a day. GOOD LUCK & I hope everything works out for you!!

I dont understand what the adjustment is....I am on almost every day. I like reading everyone's posts. Sometimes, they get me up and motivated because the WLS alone is NO fun!!!!

I had the sleeve done in Mexico.....the lapband really wasnt an option for me. I live in Louisiana and I found a doctor that would do the fills for $150 a pop. I dont have insurance.......that is why I went to Mexico

bottom line is ......its your body and your life. It is NOT going to hurt you if you smoke a little weed every now and then.

I had the sleeve done on Oct 30,2014......I lost 123 lbs in 8 months. WOW...I am impressed!! Since June 2015, I have not lost any weight. My weight seems to yo-yo between 237 and 243. I have googled, read, and tried just about everything to jump start my weight loss. NOTHING seems to work!! UUUUGGGGGHHHHH!! Can anyone give me some tips suggestions, or ideas PLEASE!?!?! I am almost to the point of wanting to go have the RNY done to lose the last 65-70 lbs to hit my goals!!
