My surgery date is October 30th. I have been stocking up on my Protein...I buy both powder and liquid Protein. New whey makes a liquid protein in a 3.8 oz bottle in several different flavors. You can mix them with Water and kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I am also stocking up on propel flavored water and Flintstone chewable Vitamins. GOOD LUCK in your journey!!! url=http://www.bariatricpal.com]

What is everyone NOT going to miss after sleeve?
Packerfan61964 replied to alexsisv's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am NOT going to miss a single thing about being FAT!!!! I CANNOT wait to be able to bend over and tie my shoes WITHOUT losing my breath! I saved a pair of my "skinny" pants from back in the 80's..........I hope to be able to get into them again!!! -
Proudgrammy, I scheduled my surgery October 30th, just so that I would be in the hospital during Halloween. I am like you..I love candy!!!!

James, I did alot of research on the doctors down in TJ.... and although all of them are very competent and skilled surgeons, I read more negative comments about Dr. Almanza than all the other surgeons put together. I narrowed my search down to Dr. Lopez, Dr. Osuna, and Dr. Venezuela....... and finally chose Dr. Osuna because she was available when I wanted to go have it done. Good luck to you and keep us all posted on your journey!! Clay

Juicing on pre-op diet?
Packerfan61964 replied to Stephanie Kandace's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mix your Protein (flavored or unflavored) with your sugar free Jello and drink it. I mixed my chocolate protein with sugar free peach flavored jello and it was suprizingly pretty darn tastey. GOOD LUCK!!!!! -
I think if you were worried about loose skin instead of being thinner and healthier, then you're having the surgery for all the wrong reasons. Focus on the positives NOT the negatives

Have you tried the drink mixes with Stevia? It does not have that aftertaste like some of the others IMO. -
