    60+ sleevers please help

    I wish I could be like you. I exercise 4 times a week and ride my bike on my off days. Just got bad news yesterday. I am having knee surgery on the 25th. I am a below the knee amputee and the sugery is on my good leg. I hope this will not effect my weight loss. I just got off a three week stall. I am so unhappy. Do not think I will ever be thin.

    Has anyone lost weight without exercise

    Best of luck on your upcoming sugery. I was in the mood that I had to be on the fast track and was putting a time limit on my weight loss. Yesterday I had to keep pulling up my pants, then I said your not pulling them up cause they are to tight it is because they are to big. Yes! Will be happy when it is time to buy new cloths

    Bobby wife or any one else. I am on this journey alone and would love support. I am 61 and spend my winters in florida. I am 5 weeks out and am having stalls and dissapointed in my loss. could use someone to be support my journey as well. Calling out for help

    New to site, 8 days post-op NZ

    My routine was liquid for the first 10 days and then we were allowed 5 soft foods. Sugar free pudding, egg whites, Greek yogart, low fat cottage cheese and refried beans. I did that for 14 days and now it is soft foods with some limits. I do this for another 14 days and then I start solids slowley. I am requir ed to attend educational classes. I am very interested in all of the different plans on this site. Good luck to all and if you even think there is a problem call your doctor right away so you are safe on your wonderful weight loss journey

    Need your Help/Advice - 5 months post Op

    My best of luck and hope it is something small. I am an amputee and have had 26 surgeries on my leg. Your body has a way of saying let's go see the doctor. Best wishes, I am 4 weeks out from being sleeved. I had my surgery be a use my leg surgeon said if we can not get some your weight down we will take your leg ubove your knee. It is painful for me to walk so I am doing what needs to be xone. I am sorry I got off the subject of your health but I just needed to tell someone. Please keep us posted on how you are doing

    I'm new and just wanted to say "Hey!"

    Welcome I am 4 weeks out and what a ride. Up and down on weight loss but I would not change a thing. Down 30 pounds. I found myself trying to keep up with others on the site. Then my husband said you are you and it will happen. He is being supportive. My one mistake is I have become glued to the scale. Do yourself a favor and try not to fall into that trap.

    Skype buddy system?

    I think a Skype group would be great. I am 4 weeks out and am seeing weight go up and down. Not happy. I had a dream last night that I had this surgery and a year later was still fat. I woke crying and can not get it out of my head. So depressed

    Kindle I agree with you. I am putting my scale in my closet and lock the door. I have been overweight for some time and the thin me wants out. That is why I stress when I see scale going the wrong ditection. Thanks to every one for the support.

    I was sleeved on 9-15. I got in the habit of weighing every day once in morning and once a night. Bad move. I stepped on the scale and gained weight. So dissapointed but the doctor says as our muscle looses fat it is replaced with healthy muscle. He said do not be a ball a day chain wire the scale. If I did not jump on it every day it would have worked itself out. But it is depressing since I know that it happened

    Pain

    I am four weeks out but have noticed that I will gain 2 to 3 pounds. Very discouraged about this. The nurse told me as we loose fat from muscle it is replaced with good muscle tissue when we exercise. I know that sounds correct but I have waited so long for the scale to go.in reverse. I Need not going the other way. I have lost 34 pounds so far
  15. I have the same issue. Three weeks out and I Need a nap on a regular basis. I hope this will pass.
