I think fish with a light sauce is the easiest to digest. Chicken is the next easiest to digest in my opinion. I've done chicken tetrazzini, Vietnamese beef stew with carrots. Crock pots help the food cook for a long time and get very soft. Just search on google & enjoy!

Beef stew sounds so good. But I'm sure I couldn't eat that yet. Refried beans and salsa mixed with a little nacho cheese little much yet.

I would try the fish in a light sauce first. That's not as dry or dense.

If I could say anything, be sure 100% you want to do this, I've had ooh shit moments. But I couldn't keep going the way I was. Its not easy. It hurts, but 1 week out, I am eating yogurt, mashed potatoes, pureed chicken, I had an over easy egg yesterday. It does get better. Practice eating without drinking. That's the hardest to do. Thanks Robert. I am like you. I can't keep going the way I am. I just wish the day was here as waiting is hard. I fully expect the first 5 days to be tough but it will get better after that. Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. John

these are pills I cant crush because they are time release, and I cant crush them. its the only thing im worried about is that. the surgeon said ill get them down but its gonna be hard and they will sit there for a while before they pass. I have 3 pills I have to take. its life or death for me if I don't take them.

I have issues with big pills. Check with your pharmacist to see if there is any other option. I use liquid/or chewable supplements because I just cant swallow meds.
