What have I done

I have been over weight since I was 8 years old. I was always the bigger girl. I have never had a problem getting a bf or husband, but I was never that skinny girl. It never really bothered me having lived with it my whole life. What did bother me was after I married for the 3rd time 5/2012, and 3 months later my very new husband was diagnosed as terminal. I was focused so much on taking care of him I forgot about me. And with all the stress, no sleeping, etc my body said enough. It started with an admission in the hospital for small bowel obstruction, than I was admitted the next month for obstructions and ended up having surgery to fix it this time. Than I started having severe swelling, pain everywhere on my body and welts, etc. I went to a Rheumatologist to find out I had Fibromyalgia and with already having CRPS from a work injury in 12/2001, my life was spinning out of control. I than started having more bowel/intestine issues and between my Rheumatologist, GI doctor and surgeon they decided the only thing left to see if it would help with my health issues was weight loss surgery. So we started the process. And less than 3 months after starting I was at the hospital for my surgery. I actually had the Gastric Sleeve, major adhesion removal and a Hiatal Hernia repaired. With CRPS & Fibromyalgia any type of trauma or messing with the body flares them up too the maximum and boy has it. I have IBS, Ilieus, Advanced GERD, Chronic Constipation, CRPS, Fibromyalgia & was just diagnosed 3 weeks ago with Diverticulitis.............. I am having a horrific time now with the sleeve restrictions and all my illnesses. But I am a strong woman and determined to fight this hurdle and make this life change work for the rest of my life.
