Anyone else feel scared they'll gain it back?
AlanaRN replied to Debbieduck4's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am terrified of regain. Absolutely terrified every single day! This is probably one I'm a bit obsessive. I am over a year out and down 125 lbs. I'm the smallest I've been since I was about 16. I still have yet to eat one bad thing. Not even a bite or a crumb. I have not had one single treat or splurge. Haven't had bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, etc.. I keep thinking I need to get over it but I'm afraid. -
I'm a year out and mine is still loud!!!! It's embarrassing!

161 Sorry I'm posting late

Oh wow. I'm sorry that happened. This is one of my biggest fears. I'm an ER RN and I've had several instances of near syncope since my surgery. It sucks! I'm so afraid it's going to happen in the middle of a code or something!

My pulse has lowered a lot since surgery. I usually stay in the 50s but sometimes dip in the 40s. I do get lightheaded and dizzy at times. I need to go see my primary about it.

I'm almost a year out and had a huge NSV yesterday. I could never wear high boots before. Went it to the store and pulled on a pair of knee high boots that zipped. They fit perfectly! I wanted to cry!

Can I drink more than just water for my 64oz of fluids
AlanaRN replied to kaysunshine's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I drink 24 oz of crystal lite a day and the rest straight water. Lots of ways to get water in. -

one year, two years out..how many calories a day are ppl eating?
AlanaRN replied to Jim in Utah's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm almost a year out. I eat between 1000-1200 calories a day. I usually fall closer to the 1000 but it depends on my exercise for the day. I was losing steadily until last month. I stalled for about a month. Got on the scale today and was down 4 lbs. I'm now 3 lbs from goal and have lost a total of 123 lbs. I'm very strict on my diet though and exercise a lot. Hope this helps. -

I'm a nurse as well. Mostly work day shift but do work some nights. I eat small protein snacks throughout the night. I never eat anything heavy but I eat something small about every 3 hours. It's never been a problem for me. -
163!!!!!!!! After not losing anything for a month, the scale has finally moved. I am so excited!!!!

Former csection mommies
AlanaRN replied to MollyF22's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm going to play Devils advocate. My sleeve recovery was worse than my 3 c sections. I had a much harder time. Not sure why. -
I'm 11 months out and 6 lbs from my goal. I already met my doctors goal. I haven't lost anything in about a month. It's really frustrating me especially when I eat what I'm supposed to 100% of the time.

Yes! I'm 11 months out and still have this.
